Ale has sung this one whenever Dany was ill or needed to rest her voice. Anytime you get to listen to Ale sing lead DO IT; you're in for a treat. Hunter and River Soul are two others that Ale has sung lead.
In my brain this is Ale's song and it always feels wrong hearing Dany sing it lol Same for Hunter
That being said, not a single Ale version is pro shot, and all the quality of the fan-cams is crap.

When Ale sings lead live sometimes this is one of the songs she does. I can send you the best audio version because there is no professional recording of Ale leads.

My interpretation of this entire album is all the events described in the songs take place solely in the mind of the Queen.
Nothing happens in the real world per se except for the initial crush the Queen feels for the subject of her affection.
The obsession, the murder(s), the psychotic break and the struggle are all manifestations of the different personalities created by the Queen leading to the penultimate climax.
I’ve seen many theories that the album does occur in the real world up until stalker then shifts into the inner realm of the Queen.
I’ve also seen theories where this possibly occurs in the real world until the last act and the Queen has literally become a certifiable serial killer and when the consequences are closing in on her is when she withdraws inside herself and decides how the story is gonna end on her own terms.
To me that is the sign of excellent writing that it spawns multiple interpretations with each being entirely plausible.
I like this. It's what I felt on first listen as well. The whole thing feels like a fever dream. I don't know if you've ever been sick for awhile but had wild wild dreams. Sometime whole plotlines like this just keep going and going as you wake and fall back asleep. The only ones I remember are because I told someone or wrote them down.
Like, when I think about Black Holes you can see how Pau writes when she's considering a real person's suffering. It's a lot more on the nose and anguished. Here, in QoTMS the pain is diffuse, the struggles almost alien. I think it's through sheer force of will and talent that they took something with that much ambiguity (as a sense of personhood) and made it feel so passionate and immediate.

Please protect yourself. Falling in love with them can lead to terrible side effects like inspiration, jumping up and down, and singing in the shower.

Unfortunately, there are no official videos of Ale singing. It’s pretty much all fan cam videos and the audio is not up to par. Hoping for Ale to sing where the warning team will capture her singing with the right equipment
The songs with (Ale) in the title are when Ale takes over lead, almost always when Dany has a bad voice. So they're rare, and there are only I think 4 songs Ale is able/willing to sing lead on. (Her chest range is fairly narrow though she has beautiful falsetto, so it often doesn't quite span quite a few of their songs).
Triumphant is a great description of this song. She's truly lost her mind at this point and Dany doesn't mince around showing it.
They have a knack at setting the mood for all the songs on this album.

Lets hope the Lava (Records) soap doesn't get the red off Pau's brain. I'm longing for their return to songwriting in their 'old style' if they ever do again (By which I mean Pau writes something about death, grief, betrayal or murder on piano and Dany and Ale work with her for a week or two to turn it into a song).

Unfortunately, they never raise Ale's microphone volume up when she sings. Too bad, she is a good singer.
There won't be any remorse or healing because she's nuts. 😅😅😅 She's mad at him for making her do this, even though there's no evidence she ever even talked to him. These songs will grow on you, they're brilliant.
She looks for remorse but doesn't really know where to start. A very confident confused person.
IMO, when you get to "Queen of the murder scene" and "Hunter" I prefer the performances at Teatro. I don't know how anyone else feels, but I think you should do the Teatro versions for those songs. OH, and "Dull knives" live from the Warning Cave
Probably I agree but I like the Lunario in full if someone is going pretty quickly through the album. The visuals and continuity make it more appealing as a whole IMO.
Remember if you do the Ale version, it's fan cam and the song is way below her power level. Dany struggles with the lows on this song, and she has a lower power range than Ale.
