I’ve had my Steyr M9-A1 for awhile now, and have been driving myself crazy thinking that I just cannot figure out the trapezoidal sight, as I have been impacting to the right of point of aim every time I shoot it.
Well, I took a close look at the sights themselves and found that while the front post is perfectly centered, the rear sight sits slightly to the right of center, you can even feel the difference by running your finger down each side of the sight and onto the slide.
    Maddening, I tell you.
I’m glad you took the time to make this video, the information on these sights is extraordinarily uncommon.

So you figured out that you needed to move your rear sight slightly to the left. Good.
My ultimate choice with most of my handguns is to swap the rear sight to a fully adjustable sight. It offers so much more options. Happy shooting Eric.

I think in steyrs infinite wisdom they indeed have a 2mm and 1.5mm set screws depending on the gen. I have the l9 with the changeable grip parts and I’m unable to fit the 2mm hex. I’d try the 1.5 for fit if I had one. No luck with 2mm for me. The m9 I had didn’t have the screw and the aight never moved a hair but on this l9 it moves freely like it’s loose

On my M9 A2 the 1.5 is too loose and the 2mm is too tight. Neither will fit correctly without damaging the screw.

I have a Steyr C9-A2 MF when I screwed the set screw back in it clicks and doesn't seem to fully tighten. Did you notice this on yours?

Does the sight pusher not damage your sights? I have issues with this putting small dents on my rear sights.

No I never did. Perhaps the sight's metal is too soft, or maybe, the pusher was not aligned correctly. I can't tell from here, just take your time and be careful. Happy shooting.
