- Written, and Directed by Jack Wareing. Starring Taylor Drumwright, Jack Wareing (the Vagrant) and Mark Zillges as 'the Pooka'. Originally based on the Jethro Tull song 'Aqualung', it later morphed into a story with a big rabbit based on the painting in the classic 'Harvey' movie?! Awesome music by M83 (France) and Judy Collins (USA)
Great makeup on the homeless guy. I can identify with this one. It’s wonderful to know you are not alone. Thanks Jack Wareing
Oh, Harvey.
Oh, Frank.
This was rather weird, but enjoyable, I quite liked it.
Such a privilege to have Taylor be a family member. She did great!
That changes everything 😕🙁🙁🙁🙁😯😯😯😯😯😯😯😮😮😮😮😮😮
This reminds me of Alice in wonderland
OMG the ending,I thought the vagrant at first was going to be her friend. Reminds me of the James Stewart film Harvey
The vagrant in the story was based on the Jethro Tull song 'Aqualung'. The Rabbit/Pooka was based on the painting in the original film 'Harvey' with Jimmy Stewart, and then I just stuck them together. ha ha Peace.
Say hello, Harvey.
Bravo! Well done!
Great!! 😯😯
Good flick!
Wow, I am tha pooka!
This is a great film! I love how you put the audio into play making the emotions respond. Wonderful work Jack! Truly well done all around. This is the best I've seen in a short film.
I loved all the nature shots! So beautiful where were you filming?
That was an unexpected ending...It's a very good story : ) Great acting and filming~
Woman stupid
i like the actors
Aaawwweee!!!
Why the hell did the bunny kill the vagrant? He wasn't gonnado anything bad... Maybe he was following her to ask her something...Or maybe she left something behind and he was only returning that thing... All in all it was great... But...Come on... Just because you are homeless doesn't mean that you are a a rapist or a bad person...
Jorge de Arca ??? Did we watch the same thing. Dude was a creep, he stalked her then he stalked her more before he was about to grab her from behind without saying anything before hand? Yeah...okay. Common sense much?
They added planes to Fortnite
I thought it was beautiful
Ah, Harvey was just lonely maybe that's why he drinks.
so fucking boss

great movie
Perfect... It remember me "Changeling: The Dreaming"

I call everything "cute" a Pooka :3 idk why
So glad they abandoned the Aqualung theme. He's a pervert.
I'm sorry What?
@@Jerry-il8pe I wrote the original story-based on the Jethro Tull song: 'Aqualung' but then I wrote in a Big White Rabbit and the story took a different direction (i.e., The Pooka)
i like weird horror movies
dont ask
LSD
Question: I realize it was just for the sake of the convenience of the movie, but, why would a school bus drop her off at least a mile from her house? Otherwise, it's a cool movie.
I am glad you like the movie. Actually the bus drops her off close to her house, but she often will go into the forest before she goes home for solace after a long day of dejection, and loneliness just to live in her own fantasy world which she prefers to real life. I appreciate your question though. Peace.
Okay, well, one way you could've shown that was to have her look up and see her house a short distance away and even start walking towards it a little, then stop, turn around and walk through the woods.
I also kinda have to agree with Jorge, the Pooka should've waited a moment to see what the vagrant's intention was before he took action against him. Maybe you could've had him wring his hands a bit with a slightly evil grin on his face when he first saw her walk by, that would imply evil intent and could've let the rest of it stay the way it was. Yeah, I know, the hand wringing is pretty cliché, but, if you're working in mime (per se), you have to do SOMETHING. When I was watching him come up behind her at the end, I was thinking, he's not going to hurt the girl, he just wants to talk with her for a minute, maybe find out what she was doing in the woods. The other question was, they're walking down a dirt path covered with dead leaves, why couldn't she hear him coming a long way off? I'm not criticizing, these are just things to think about. Otherwise, it was still a good movie and I sent it to my best friend because I thought she might like it. She's been a loner most of her life, too. Take care!!
Red Vynil Oh my gosh..You are so infintesimally in-observant...The vagrant was obviously stalking the girl & was just in the act of attacking her when the Pooka did him in...As for her taking the wrong way home...She was obviously shunned by the other girls and just needed to get off on her own...
I tried to make an obvious generic villain that would pose an obvious threat to an innocent girl. Basic drama/conflict/storytelling 101. But, I have always found it interesting that so many people come to the defense of the 'vagrant'(villain) in this story. Maybe, because I based the opening of the story somewhat on the song 'Aqualung' by Jethro Tull? & he was a popular character despite his evilness.
Jack Wareing Films It's because he really didn't seem evil. Even in the beginning; he's looking for food. I started to pity him after that. Perhaps if he was a man watching her, stalking her ever since she got off the bus, it would unsettle us enough to not like him. He really did just look like a curious man about to ask her a question. It could've been a twist at the end where the Pooka isn't quite as nice as he seems with a shot showing the man looking up at the Pooka, with confused eyes. But that's just me being nitpicky at that point. Anyways, it was nice to watch overall.
Furries?
nope
This is nothing like hat the Irish say the Pooka is supposed to be. It would have taken or killed the girl. The Irish would tell their children to not go off alone or stay out late or the Pooka would get them. Don't believe me? Google it.
HEY! DON'T COME AROUND HERE NO MORE. WHATEVER YOU'RE LOOKING FORRRR.
