It's cool being able to see the issues with some of these drills so apparent, as I'm sure RISE UP would wish they had a second chance at preparing for this footage. For example, the girls being unable to throw spinny discs up without lateral velocity (which is pretty hard tbh) really inhibits their ability to get good catching reps in. Also, the catching to the side doesn't work well unless you spread the players out more and determine to which side they should be throwing (you can see several kids just throwing in front of themselves again).
Very much appreciate the pioneering that RISE UP has done, and I hope someone else (or maybe RISE UP themselves) come up with a new and improved version of these videos, as them being on the internet are really going to help our sport.
