    Amazing how much of Ellis' work made it to the field...a damn shame he never heard Scouts do Strawberry Soup in 83!

    Great stuff...as the world has left olde thyme swing dance rhythms behind decades ago, Ellis's stuff just sounds fresher than ever,

    Saw the Tears of Joy band in '72. Ellis was absolutly fantastic live. This whole concert should be out on DVD
