There is only one real reason to play hero wars. You are addicted to gaming. You spend way to much of your life gaming. But you can't quit gaming 100%. So you need a game you can play every day THAT limits the amount of time you can play to about 1/2 hour a day.
I absolutely agree with this video. I remember when I first started I immediately loved Aurora, but everyone said she was a terrible tank. All the videos said she was bottom tier, she was trash, she wasn't good. Then they changed how Dodge worked and the energy gain on FB/Web, now she is one of the best tanks in the game. She helps me regularly destroy teams that have 200k more power than me. I couldn't be happier that I ignored all the negativity and built the champion that I really enjoyed.

Same here I liked style and looks so I made her my leading character and when the new heroes came I thought they were more powerful it I couldn't let her go because I liked her and spent a ton resources on her
Aurora and Cain....aaahhhh what a duo. Used to have her as my main tank on FB, now I started over on mobile and it's all about the healers and Lara. I still picture a more realistic looking Aurora and Cain sitting/floating near a pile of dead bodies with daggers sticking in them like pincushions
This is a very important video, Charlie; I sure wish I knew these things as well when I started as well. I told Nextters that they needed a "how to or what to do" guilde that appeared on the page when you first start out that you can refer to on/under the menu. Understanding that you need to be in a guild and how important that you find the right guild for your objectives is number one in my book.
Or instead of looking at it as p2w you could treat the game as a chill relax game to play in between your main game and just have some fun and slowly progress. Because if you don't spend any money on the game at all, you will never cap out on anything. So there will always be something to do. Me personally don't play the game to "win", i just play while waiting on "real" game releases
1 thing I wish I would have known when I started was that everything about a hero does not need leveled up completely. You know what I mean. You dont have to level up everything to be effective.

I started playing 2 days ago im lvl 30 now and i felt stuck, then I thought let me watch CZcams, and what i saw was many players saying what to do, what to pick, and so on, but i liked ur advice more, now i will continue having fun playing this game like i had in start, instead of feeling i need to follow an order or feel i need to do something else what others tell me. I also wish I had known that there are 2 versions of the game that are VERY different. Took me a while to figure that out. I knew that you could play on fb/web or mobile and that you’ll be in different servers and stuff.. but I didn’t realize how very different the heroes, tasks, events, battles,..etc are. Waisted some resources on the wrong things because of that..
Also, have an idea what role you're going to have in your guild. They take 30 members, but only 20 are in guild wars any given day, but for the most part it's going to be the same people in the guild unless one of them quits or gets a better offer. Maybe a guild will manage a few GW capable back ups for days that regulars are ill or on vacation, but because you get more resource for being in the GW and winning than just being on the winning team, GW capable players are going to tend to be distributed to guilds where they can participate. If you will generate the activity points and run the guild dungeon, you should be able to find a good guild that will take you just to make those daily guild totals easier to achieve. I only spent $20 to unlock multiple raiding, and I'm in a gold league guild for exactly that reason.

@@longbow857 Beyond what HWC said in the video, just be judicious in using those emeralds you bought. I only use mine when there's an even on that awards for spending emeralds and for spending energy, for example. Most everything else you can get from emeralds you will get over time anyway. Make sure you use all the free resources you get every day. And remember you can get some items every day from the shop for various coins you're already earning.

I have hit lvl 130. My top 20 heroes are all 130. So now I can't rely on skill points to build power for them. Gift of elements are maxed. So now I need to look elsewhere to build heroes. Artifacts, Ascension, Skins are all so incredibly slow to increase. Am I missing something on how to build my heroes?
I kind of figured that I was playing against a lot of people that were $$$... Another thing that I have been doing is to level all of my heroes up to level 50 and then to see what they got.. Now that I have Titans they want resources so I might start spending my resources on them rather than my heroes.. Not sure yet.. Still haven't used my Titans in anything but the Dungeon.. Still Learning...
I wish i had known that most of the information you can find on the internet is outdated because the game changes so much. There are discord bots that haven’t been updated for months, very old tier lists and videos with information that doesn’t apply anymore.

It is not a sprint? It is a marathon? Really? OK, it is not a sprint, but it is not a marathon. If you don't develop your team in time, you will end up in the bronze league FOREVER. You go up, they go up, you buy things, they buy things. And the difference between you is always the same. You are 500K, they are 700K. You are 700K, they are 900K. What can you do? You must change a server, just to be somebody who means something, or you will be nobody on your server. And you won't make a mistake if your tank is Rufus, Kornelius, or Aurora. But if you stick to Galahad, it is a totally wrong decision, he will NEVER be great. No matter what. You can find out that even Dante can be a tank, but Galahad will never give you any advantage. The same is with 60, some of them are totally worthless. TOTALLY. And there is no tweaking and combining that will make them better.
Why do you want to be great or recognized? What do you get? All pay to win is a fool and his money are soon departed. Play to have fun, especially if you can play for free.

So, if you are not ready to spend a lot of money, there is no gold league for you. I played Hero Wars on Facebook and the Web. In both places, I got stuck in the bronze league. It is terrible. You simply can't reach the silver league, no matter what. This game can be more than boring, but if you reach the limit you can't pass, it is so bad. You can't have fun if you do your best and can't reach anything substantial, there is no challenge, you are stuck in the bronze league and that is it. You can be in the top guild in bronze, but there is no way to reach the silver. At the moment, I play one account in the silver league, we are very strong, and we are in the top 3 in silver. We can't reach gold, but it is OK. I can say I am lucky this time. Even if this game didn't have money included, there would be some players who are more clever than I am. And they would be stronger than me. I don't want to be even in the top 50 on my server. But it is much more interesting when you are almost the best in the silver League. You have your satisfaction. Because the developers of this game are not so creative, everything is the same. And they invent some new heroes, 90% of them are useless. No new ideas.

Great video. Unless I’m mistaken, on mobile nowadays new skins costs more to purchase using cash during skin events than older skins.

15 Champions in GW. Running a guild is tough, thankless, and unforgiving.

Only 3 to 4 heros a year is great. Some of these games release new heros every month or every other week.
