  • This is our 2024 tour of the Serre Chevalier campervan and motorhome camp site / park up / Aire du camping car. Serre Chevalier is a ski resort in France, in the Alps, which forms part of the town of Briancon in the Provence Alpes Cote dAzur.
We came here as it was on our "to do" list of ski resorts from way back before we embarked on our Van adventures, so what better way to explore than in Tippy!
This entire area is beautiful, a nice mix between old and new, lovely tree lined runs, slopes not overflowing with with Neanderthals! Everyone here seemed very friendly and super keen to help us, so nice compared to other "industrial ski factories" we have been to.... mentioning no names (Les 2 Alpes)

Great content, thanks..I have two little girls as well. This looks like a great place to teach them and take the van. Keep up the good work.

Nice vid. How's the van doing in the snow? Do you turn traction control off if you get a bit stuck on the slippy stuff?

Yes exactly that, on our van it's the "asr" anti slip regulation, once this is off we're able to drag it's fat bum around, had a few small traction issues, but nothing that required putting the chains on..
