nice
One of the best channel
I’ve got three weeks to figure out chording for our Christmas Carol singing. This is going to help me SO much !!
Finally! I've been looking for simple, clear examples of piano grooves.
I second this 🎉
Unbelievably helpful! I've always struggled to find a rhythm when playing chords, but this video has solved that. You're an absolutely great teacher. Thank you so much for your help!!
No probs 👍
This is definitely one of the best lessons on rhythm patterns for beginners. I'm about 21 months into my lessons, and progress has been slow, especially where hand coordination comes in. I was able to play all the patterns up to the last one, but it sounded so beautiful when he plays it that I was determined to work at it more. I really appreciate that he stated it was going to be difficult for beginners, and that you should practice the pattern on just one chord first. I had great difficulty at first, but after about a week I started to get the coordination. By two weeks, I was playing the 3 chord progression, and sometimes I even got it right. There is nothing so rewarding as being able to do something that you thought you couldn't do. Thanks, Scratch! I will continue to practice this and your other lessons as I make microscopic progress.
Nice work!
It's so helpful. I love the way you are slow enough for any beginner or intermediate learner to understand.
Agreed

Where have you been all these years... this helped me so much thank you 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🎹🎹
I hope there will be more chord rhythm like this to come. As a super beginner at the age of 32, it feels so nice to be able to press the keyboard and hear a decent sound. ❤️ Thank you!
I'm sure there will be!
You're genuinely the best music teacher I've ever seen, you explain everything in such relatable yet informative ways. You condense 5 hours of training into a 25 minute video in the most clear and understandable way. Genuinely amazing
Just got my keyboard a couple of weeks ago and I've been looking into many "Do this and learn Piano in 5 days" kinda videos, but you help with the basics and just build on top of it. It's an amazing workflow that really works well for me. Thanks a lot for your efforts in making quality content!
Thank you so much. What sets this video apart from others is that not only do you show us the pattern, but you also take the time to EXPLAIN what you are doing. That is SO helpful. The third this is having highlighted keys. The combination of these three techniques knocks it out of the park. A bonus is telling us songs that use the rhythms. I’ve never seen anyone else do all four of these (especially not telling us songs to use the rhythms on).
I need just a little more time to perfect, then I’m going to start finding song’s to play along with. Thank you so much!!!
I have been playing piano from scratch since 2010 and am a slow learner. Achieved grade 4 and I really enjoy a sight reading. However, I have been struggling with rhythm all this time. Today I have discovered your video and it really helps me to understand how rhythm works. Thanks so much. Olya
Thanks very much for this. I learned all my chords from one of your beginner videos. It was so helpful. Now I'm looking to take it to the next level and rhythm is so important. Can't wait to sit down and put this into practice. You have a great way to introduce concepts.
I am a mid intermediate. Since taking an early retirement a year and a half ago I’ve made it my goal to make piano a major priority in my life. I practice 2-3 hours a day broken into 3 or more sittings. I read music but have almost zero experience with improvisation and playing with a lead sheet or backing other musicians/accompaniment. This video is extremely helpful and hope to watch more like this. You are a fantastic teacher! I watch all your videos!
AT LAST 👏👏👏You are my new FAVE Piano Teacher!! When I was a kid, my Piano Teacher was old, crotchety and unforgiving...so I learned bad habits on my own, after only the basic lessons and theory! I recently got a piano, and I'm determined to sight read, and develop my natural ear ability, while practicing daily...you've given me the CONFIDENCE, while making it easy to understand, and I will absorb all of your teaching lessons! THANK YOU AND BLESS YOUR HEART! Lisa
Thank you! This is exactly what I wanted to learn 🙌🏻
Thank u soo much.. it really helped✨✨
Actually explained the variety of things you can do with your left hand to work with the progressions. Hadn't seen anyone do this. Thanks!
I surely love your patience , and method of teaching. You do take your time to ensure we learn as compared to many other videos which go so quickly forgetting about newbies. Thanks very much.
One of the best Piano tutorial I’ve saw! Thanks for teaching it so clearly and thorough!!
Thank you. 🤗🙏 Another brilliant tutorial. Please add more piano accompaniment tutorials.
This is the best lession about chords and rythm so far I have learned. I appriciate the efforts you put into every detail of this video. ❤
Wonderful video. I'm definitely gonna practice them.
Great! I just started learning chords after 40 years of learning songs note by note. That really unlocks a new world. But i've been looking for ways to "fill" the chords. So this was awesome. Thank you!!
I’m in the same boat. Playing note by note can be so tedious and restricting.
Awesome!!! Thanks sooooooo much!!!
Thank you, it is very helpful and your art of teaching is superb.
Thank you so much, I learned the patterns very easily and I'm not an experienced player. Great video
This is excellent. Thank you for sharing! The way you build the lesson is super helpful! God bless!
Great channel! Thank you very much 🙏🎹🎶
We need more chord rhythm patterns because this video was very helpful 👏
Great video. Very helpful in terms of learning some basic rhythms.
The only thing I would add is: support the melody. These patterns are great starting points, but it is critical to listen to the melody, and adapt your playing to fit.
Excellent!!👌👌👌

This was the best video for progressing as a beginner, when you get that last rythm it really sounds great. I became a patreon because of this video. Do you have more content like this? Just progressively more difficult strumming patterns for piano.
