Funny that the first season is often called the weakest one, but it's the first season where Jimmy was right where he needed to be; honest, hardworking, charismatic, empathetic, and determined.
Long-winded way of saying 'weakest season'
Nah imo season 4 was the weakest szn 1 of bcs and szn 3 of bb are the most underrated of the universe
He let a man almost fall from a billboard just so he could get credit on saving him.
and that combination is unfortunately lacking on value when it comes to earning a living
@@JustinCage56you mean the paid actor that took a fall so he can make himself look good? Idk for that one, he wasn't honest but definitely not a huge problem
I love it when shows or movies make a montage out of the mundane. It always shows an air of efficiency and dedication to the job which is instantly admirable to many.
Yes, this inspires to get a job
“You’re like a troll under a bridge, you must have the stickers or you won’t pass”🤣🤣
Probably the best line of the whole series
TROLL here people! Don’t feed it.
@@RE4Maverick I know a better line
@@omegajrz1269 "REALLY?? How lucky for me"
@@RE4Maverick "You think I'd be caught dead driving that thing? Looks like a school bus for 6 year old pimps"
You would think after the second time he would learn that he needs an additional sticker 🤷♂️
Not sure how parking stickers works but if I was him, I would just keep a box of stickers in my car by that point
@@jaxchacky9358 he gets reimbursed for his parking so that wasn't a solution
Problem is Mike takes the job wayyy too seriously. He’s a fucking parking lot attendant. He’s the kind of person who says “your 10 cents off” when you pay for a chocolate bar.
Love this homage to Roy Schneider in All That Jazz (1980). The all it’s showtime folks Vivaldi is from that film originally and almost won him the Oscar.
Petty with a prior. Petty with a prior. Petty with a prior. Petty with a prior.
Some parts of these series ( BB, better call Saul ) are simply just masterful !!!
In the last shot his coffee cup falls over, he gives up on maintaining this proper routine and walks away before it is revealed the coffee machine detects the mistake and tries to fill it again, if Jimmy waited long enough and just fixed this little mistake he could've had his coffee as always, but he never got to see that if he just kept at it it would've worked out for him.
petty with a prior.
Only the 2nd episode EVER and this is definitely my favorite sequence from year 1 if not the early years. "Petty with a prior" - you get the early years of Mike as the attendant validating tickets (which has just come back as Kim recognizes Mike in 6x05) - the beautiful classical music over the montage - and that lovely moment where Kim looks at Jimmy and smiles.
It's early but I knew I was hooked.
Also nice that you get jimmy sticking up for the little man thru being a public defendant , but then later drawing Kim in to his slipping Jimmy schemes and success - even tho Kim starts the final ball rolling "I was having TOO MUCH FUN"
What an awesome series
Also it's brilliant to see it on CZcams - I thought the clip was copyright and would never see the light of day 👍👍👍👍😎
Mike: It's nice to have integrity....
What would Jimmy had become if he didn't go Saul Goodman.
If Chuck supported him, he'd get a job at HH&M and become a legit lawyer
@@kamilgrunert1586 Yeah... when he became what he wants him to be. He didn't get any reward nor a pat on the back. He gets the same old bicker from good ol' chuck.
@@benfrank9622”People never change! He’s Slippin Jimmy!”
Wouldve been a successful legit lawyer even more successful than howard or chuck
@@kamilgrunert1586 Jimmy is responsible for his own actions ffs
During the single-shot montage at 2:04, you can briefly see two Jimmys being present on the screen at the same time. I wonder how they pulled this visual trick.
I'm assuming it's just two different shots very carefully laid on top of each other, and the clip of Jimmy and the couple walking by and probably masked to the person so it layers seamlessly.
The real tough part is all the extras and other people, blending those clips would definitely be tough, but this editing crew is amazing.
During Hero, Bob never even gets more than 15 feet off the ground, but the editors somehow make him look like he's on a billboard lmao.
Its show time folks, I got so use to this I use it any time when there is a show
its showtime folks
Great choice of music, love Vivaldi!
Vivaldi Concerto ''Alla rustica'' for strings & continuo in G major RV 151
Petty with a prior
That's me every time I start working at a new place 😂 really inspiring 🙏🏻✨
Jimmy quotes two great lines from two 1970s masterpieces in the first season, the "You Will Atone!!" from Network and "It's Showtime!" from All that Jazz. And good thing Jimmy didn't take Dexedrine every morning like Joe Gideon did, just java.
Terrific video.
Vivaldi as background music is epic
Epic 👏🍺

I forgot how dislikable and annoying Oakley was. I think it's his character that I tend to feel equivocal about when we see how he becomes the bullied
What is that petty with a prior guys problem not helping Jimmy I need kid just took a pizza
Like Jimmy, he gets paid if he wins the case.
