Changing wheel size won't affect how it fits in the wheel well as much as tire selection does. If you get the proper sized tire, the actual gap won't change.

Hey man! So real quick I'd like to thank you for making these genesis videos. Hard to find reliable information. On that note. Thought I'd ask here before I go ".com" hunting. Rims for my 2011 Hyundai genesis 2.0T Coupe are 5x114.3 can I use a 5x100? Without spending thousands on rims in finding 5x114.3, I'd like to know my bolt pattern option. Th8nx again!.

I'm on 20x10.5 with 80mm offset with 20mm spacers in the rear, 19x9.5 with 35mm offset with 25mm spacers

Sup tim, is the 18x8 offset +35 all around with 245x45x18 on front and 255x45x18 on rear will fit on my genesis coupe without any problem??
They should fit fine. 255 is a little wide of a tire for an 18x8 though. With the +35 offset you would need spacers to get flush Fitment to the fenders.
hey man i bought some wheels a while ago and have an offset of 35 on the front & 22 in the rear. i’m looking to get some spacers for the front and in all the videos i’ve seen are saying to get 20 mm. would you mind explaining to me why that is? i’m just confused how a 35 mm offset with a 20 mm spacer gives you a flush fitment? shouldn’t a 15 mm give you flush since 35-15=20 whereas 35-20=15. would genuinely appreciate your help if you got a sec man, thanks.
my front tires are 225/40 if that makes a difference
With a 15 mm spacer in the front, you would end up with a +20 offset, closer to your +22 you have in the rear.
Do I have to make adjustments to have 20 inch rims on a 2015 Hyundai Genesia G80 or can I just put them on?
I’m not sure about the Genesis sedan. Best thing to do would be to go to www.fitmentindustries.com/?streetteam=Vehicleevolution and put in your vehicle info and it will bring up the wheels that will work for your car.

So in your opinion what would be the largest wheel size to go with on a 2017 G80 sedan without affecting the ride our performance
If you’re not looking to affect the ride or change performance you’d be better off staying with the same size wheels and tires as your stock setup. Larger wheels typically end up having a lower profile tire to keep good Fitment and that lower profile tire can make you feel more of the road. That said, if you haven’t done anything to adjust your ride height (like coilovers) you could probably get away with a wheel that’s an inch bigger in diameter and be able to maintain a tire that has the same profile thickness as your stock wheels.

9.5 & 10.5 +22 offset is the maximum flush on these cars
+22 will poke on stock height.

I would think so since that’s a pretty common spec on these cars. I’d shoot the guys at fitment industries an email though to double check. They’ll know for sure.
