- Well here it is the big boy!!! The range of tools on Found on this Swiss Army Knife make it an epic EDC option for a wide range of people from fisherman to Bush craft enthusiast. I really like the small pliers and wood chisel features the magnifying glass and the fish scaler also give it a unique edge. Victorinox have ticked a lot of boxes with this Swiss Army Knife and it was a great piece of equipment to accompany me in the outdoors. This knife in my opinion would make a great addition to any tackle box, emergency first aid kit or bug out bag as well as an excellent EDC. The Victorinox Swiss Champ Swiss Army Knife is a beauty. Cheers for the review. As a kid in the early 90's I really wanted the Swiss Champ so saved up and got one, took it everywhere with me and would demonstrate it to anyone who would listen. The scissors eventually stopped working (this was back when the blades were held together with a screw, they've since changed to a stud), so I took it in for repair, the Victorinox rep gave them a brand new one to give me as a replacement, so they stand behind their warranty. I still have it over 30 years later, apart from the leather pouch showing a little degradation it's tip top and all the tools still work. It looks like the only change they've made from the original is adding the pin and making the magnifying lens out of a different material. Thanks for bringing back memories!
No worries at all mate👍 nice to see they stand by the warranty after all those years I have heard the old magnifying are better for lighting fires then the newer ones as well. The Swiss Champ is a timeless classic indeed cheers for watching brother.

Great video mate and yes this is the daddy, but one thing is definitely annoying for me . The fact that the magnifying glass is housed in plastic, unlike the old Wenger models which were cased in steel. But apart from that I can’t fault it

I've had mine for about 6 years and mainly use the scissors and small blade .Great to have such a great array of combination tools the Philips head fits sockets 9n them for more versatile projects .great knife for edc too
