Was going to type the same thing. I bought one of Josh's album, really great song writing. The musical talent is through the roof. His buddy has a good voice too.
Josh has an entire music ecosystem. He is kind of the leader of the pack. What I love about him is that he is happy to sit back and make his friends look good. And what fabulous harmonies on this. And like Flo Gure below pleasantly surprised to see you doing a reaction video to their music.
To be fair, Josh is quite talented, but Carson is certainly no slouch. If you haven't already, go check out some of his solo stuff on his channel. It's really excellent! Cheers!
Josh was the "early bloomer" for guitar prowess, but I would say he has been chasing Carson with respect to lyrics for years. The cool thing is that now Josh is now writing great lyrics, and if you watch Carson's solo work - he is confident in showing his flatpicking chops. And then when you look at Carson and Reina del Cid's video production skills, they have also learned or been motivated to catch Josh (who was always the video production master). They have all been raising their game during Covid.
Oh my goodness. Two of my worlds are colliding. Never expected you to react to Josh & Carson. Absolutely love them and there are soo many more videos for you to discover!

I had always wanted to learn how to play guitar and at 46 thought it was too late. Then I watched Josh Turner play Graceland . A video he put out six years ago, and I subscribed to his channel. I have a lot of guitar heroes but that video made me think " I can't die without learning to do that" Now I can, not perfect yet but I am having a blast. He was my biggest influence to pick up the guitar.
That’s the video that made me discover him too and made me think picking up the guitar again to learn challenging songs was within the realm of possibility!
I know its been 11 months since you posted but hopefully your still trying to play. Just know 10 1/2 years ago at 44 i picked up the guitar and haven’t let it go,You can do it!!

I'm not musically inclined at all, but it is so entertaining to watch a musician appreciating another musician (two in this case). Just seeing the joy on your face as you react to the music makes me feel more alive and in touch with what matters on this rock spinning through space.
I just want to thank you again for doing these videos. I love the way you go about teaching the theory, but the best part is when you capture the emotions of these songs. The songs are enjoyable, the lessons are enjoyable, and most of all you, sir, are a joy to watch. This channel has reignited my passion for music and playing music. I lost it for awhile and I missed it. You gave me music back and I thank you so much. I laugh and cry a lot of times in the same video. I always feel better than I did before I watched. I wish I had a guitar teacher like you when I was starting out. Sorry, for the long comment, but I just had to thank you again. You should have a million subs easy. Keep up the great work, you are appreciated!!
