Thanks for the review and the tip barry. I do have the same frustrations with the blue demags. I struggle with them on my spring bars and tools. This one solves the issue. Cheerio!
Good to see this review. I bought one of those units off of Amazon (that larger one on the right). I've got to scrounge up a compass and test it myself to see if it is really doing the trick. I do like the ease of use, compared to the ones that you need to move the watch away from.
Thanks Barry ! So I have the amazon one and it works. Yes it takes a few tries but you're right anyone with a nice watch should at least have one. My 1960s rolex will get magnetized if I breathe on it the right way cause its ancient so these are definitely needed things for us watch nerds!
Cheers Mark the amazon ones are ok but this takes the guess work out of it, Because of my watchmaking I'm doing there will be more of these little fill in videos every now and then matey
Really I only did this as a midweek filler video , When I order the demagnetiser I was looking all over the place to see if I could find a review and couldn't 👍🏻
Thanks for the review, I am in a similar situation and thinking about getting this model. How is it holding up? Is it powerful enough to demag a watch? thanks Barry
Yes its seems to do the job will, If I have a fast running watch I pop it on this for a sec and the rate drops down if it was magnetises or if my tools need it, this think does the job spot on
Hi Barry, I'd want to make sure that it's fused, so perhaps fitting a UK plug is the only safe answer. I need a demagnetiser too, so this review is really helpful. Thanks Barry, cheers, Bob 🙂🍻
Thats a fair comment Bob , its worth doing to you watches every so often as I say I've a stunning Omega Dark Side Of The Moon , Apollo 8 review coming and the watch was magnetism, just one go on the demagnetiser and from +8 to pretty well 0 just like that 👍🏻
@@ClickSpringReview I've got the same problem: a Reverso running at +40 seconds a day, a couple of months after a service. The service agent is excellent, but I've tested the watch and its definitely magnetised. I've just got to invest in the right equipment. 🙂
I just bought one that you consider better one, thanks anyway for your review on the product. It did not come with operating manual and does not mention either anywhere on the instrument the operating voltage. 110v or 220v?
The plug it comes with is an American 120 volt plug, though the unit is advertised as 220Volts . Are you using it with 220 volts? I need one that works with 120volts and cant find one. @@ClickSpringReview
Really appreciate your experiences with both units. Thanks for the walk through.
Anytime, I couldn't find a video regrading this unit so thought I make one myself

Always glad to help Ronin :)

Its so much easer to use plus you only have to press it once were as the smaller unit I found you need 2 or 3 passes too get the same affect Sir
NICE! I was just wondering about these gadgets! Thank you!
Its a super handy bit of kit Sir and well worth having if you have a watch gets magnetism
@@ClickSpringReview this channel is WONDERFUL! I’m learning SO MUCH. 🙏

Cool. Thanks.
No problem Matthew, I like these short videos as they only take an hour or so to set up

I bought a yellow box type on eBay and when using it the ozone smell that comes of it is horrendous also it made it worse…yes I did it correctly 😂
That sounds a bit dodgy lol this one so far has been great 👍🏻
Hi Thanks for the review. Sign me up for the cheapskate value for money club. Cheers
I've now got the Aliexpress hand setting tool so I'll be doing a review of that soon 👍🏻
