I had such a similar experience with getting into Yale, I went to a public high school where no one even applied to ivies, and I was basically completely set on going to the University of Michigan. I just applied to Yale for the fun of it(and also was super motivated by your videos!), and was completely blindsided when I got in (we also got the nice hand-written notes). Now that I go to Yale, I love it, but I definitely have gone through a lot of culture shock. It would be dope if you did a video about the weirdness/elitism of Harvard and ivy league culture
Career-wise it's a no brainer. Having Harvard on your resume will open more doors than Howard ever could.

I do! I will say I didn't love my day-to-day college experience there, and Howard definitely would have been more fun, but having the Harvard degree has paid off in the long run.

By "large," do you mean "thick?" Because I have to say, a _thick_ envelope is usually a good sign. No college sends a thick package to tell you you've been declined.

It was a super tough decision but I chose Harvard right before the final decision date! I had to go back and decline from Howard in the end.

Imagining working hard your whole life to get good grades and a high gpa only to have an Ivy League to pick not really based on your grades and gpa but more so on extracurricular activities, talk about slap in the face at your hard work, it’s like their choosing you for your personality and not work put in, idk id feel kinda salty and probably wouldn’t wanna attend, I feel like Ivy League schools are more about prestige and bragging rights than anything else I don’t think it’s really worth the cost unless your certain it will really pay off in the career your going into after graduation
I think you're missing the point, MOST students at Harvard and those that received acceptance DO have the grades and GPA, that's an expectation. Going beyond school and applying yourself outside of grades is a major deciding factor in college admissions and that's why they care for extracurriculars so much.

I would definitely not think so. I can't picture people, in real life, behaving so cartoonishly.
