3K Wind Turbine in 20 MPH Wind

- This video shows the power output of the 3K HY Energy Wind Turbine in action. Wind speeds were between 20-25 MPH and we saw power output reaching 1,400 watts. This day was not sunny limiting the solar power output but had an abundance in wind showing the benefits of a hybrid system.
Gavin, that is an incredible winter turbine system to supplement solar power when sunny skys are not available.
Your not getting the power you should be getting. With 15-20 Mph winds and 25 Mph gusts my 3KW turbine output ranges between 1,800 Watts to 2,600 watts.
Your turbine is not high enough and it's tracking turbulence Not the wind direction. The wind does not change direction that quickly or that often. To get the full potential and much much more consistent output your suppose to have the Turbine off the ground by at least 60 feet And if there are ANY obstructions the turbine is suppose to be 30 feet above the obstructions.
Is it very noisy? Would mounting beside a camper be annoying?
It’s super quiet and I never it even when at high speeds.

Nice, I mean this thing will keep you topped off when ya sleeping at knight in darkness...USUALLY wit the solar and battery combo, ones expected to have a reduced battery when waking up in the morning prior to starting a pot of Cafe Bustelo. With this set up, your batteries will be fully topped off by the morning indeed.
Thanks, I remember the last storm we had all my solar panels were covered with ice and snow but we had a constant 15 to 20 mph wind. My batteries were topped off all day all night.

Yes my controller can regulate all parameters of the system
