Loving this painting so much! This is my most comfortable style. I find it really hard to do anything chunky, blotchy, fantasy, abstract, etc. Every time I try, I end up steering back to realism in the middle of my painting. GAH!!! I wish I could just let loose sometimes. I am trying to do the fantasy tree forest that I recently watched of yours. Hopefully I can relax and just let that one come alive. Will do this autumn forest next though. Thank you for sharing your art with us!!!

I love the Fall/Autumn because of the cooler weather and because of the celebrations that both humans and nature hold in this season. The falling leaves seem to be (to me, anyway) #TheArtSherpa Mother Nature’s way of throwing confetti all over the place. #TheArtSherpa

I just came across this and am enchanted! It looks so like the Blue Ridge Mountains of NC and VA where I grew up and lived for so long and where all of my family still live. Because I live in Ireland I couldn't visit for over a year and a half. I've just returned from a 5-week visit with all of them and now I find this tutorial. The foliage in the NC mountains had just begun to turn in a few places, mostly the higher elevations. This is on my list of eminent painting projects. Thank you for such a beautiful reminder of my mountains, Cinnamon!

i always says this time of year is my favorite because its the start of everything i love.. sweaters hot chocolate hot cider candles family friends and lots of eating. lol.. plus on the coast where i live its always so beautiful with all the colors changing after it rains in the mountains it always smells so fresh and amazing. then we get halloween and christmas and the other holidays from around the world. i say its the time of year that awakens my soul. plus where i live i usually wear my flip flops all year long lol we only get snow in the mountains here but its a short drive if we wanted to go play in it. this is a beautiful painting! thank you for another great lessons
