Cracked Front Tooth

A cracked tooth can cause a dental abscess. Once the root of the tooth is cracked, the tooth cannot be saved and needs to be extracted. Replacement options for a front tooth are usually either a dental implant, a fixed bridge, either a traditional 3 unit fixed bridge or a Maryland bridge or a Monodont bridge, or a removable partial denture.
