A dark storm of emotions, this thumri is fueled by the thunderous arrangement of Jaffer Zaidi. Honing in on the pain and anguish that comes with the void of heartbreak, the incredibly powerful and skillful duo of Javed Bashir & Akbar Ali cascade through the contours and complexities of Raag Bhairvi. The hues of the raag are further evoked through a confluence of the ethereal drone of the sarangi and a prolific guitar solo by Aamir Zaki, exuding a sense of melancholy. Playing with the fluidity of the raag, the track is a masterful excursion that resonates with the profundity of sorrow.

The guitarist is the most best nd creative guitarist of pakistan... he died 3 to 4 yeats ago... he is one of the first guitarist of pakistan who played with almost all the old music lagends... try to check the guitarist one more song of coke studio 'Sab Aakho Ali Ali' that song he played his best solos of coke studio.... do check it brother... u r going to love it

The lead guitarist late Amir Zaki was one of the most revered well groomed lead guitarist in the world . He passed away during this project. This project was dedicated to him if u noticed , in the middle of the song the violinists looked up at the Saringi /Sarinda player , infact it was his part which was later replaced by the Sarinda ( bowed string instrument).
This is one of the masterpieces!!

I tell you what, you will get a lot of CS requests, especially from the recent seasons but there is a huge treasure of Pakistani music that remains undiscovered. You must be thinking, how do I know, guess what I grew up with it, I was born in the early 80s and saw the whole the late 80s (when vital signs came out, ending the Nazia/Zoheb era). 90s was the peak when a number of musicians and singers came out, Junoon became the biggest band during that time, eclipsing VS in the process. Now coming over to Amir Zaki, I remember I bought the cassette of his debut album and loved it even though I was a kid. He was perhaps the only blues maestro that our country ever produced. In my view, he was a true artist and the pain and bitterness of his soul are manifested through his music. He was not very commercially successful and unfortunately most of our younger generation is not familiar with his music, they are CS and basement fans and seek some sort of validation from the reactors that Pakistan has value to offer. I cannot blame them though coz we have been through a lot as a nation and we are still breaking the spell of this -ve image that was cast on the whole nation. If you want to explore Amir Zaki's music, try these songs: Badnaam, Iss baar milo (w Hadiqa Kayani) and Mera Pyar [this was his biggest hit and featured on his debut album, unconventionally for him a love song :-)]. Anyway, keep reacting and exploring Pakistani music, we have/had a lot of gems, not everyone is Atif Aslam/RFAK.

A very humble request, I have seen some of you guys reacting on videos. I noticed that your music knowledge is nothing, these songs are lifetime songs, and you guys know nothing about music, you guys sitting with no facial reaction while listening so many moments in the song i.e tanaay, murkhiyan, don't know nothing even singer name. In short if you want to do reaction, plz do have some little knowledge of music. Really disappointed to see that you guys were no where near musically in a position to react such a classy number , but credit goes to CZcams that you guys have a chance to react.
