I didn't read any comments here so I'm not sure if someone has mentioned that Akbar Ali is singing thumri originally sung by Ustad Barray Ghulam Ali Khan Saab and Javed Bashir is singing a very famous qawali originally sung by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Saab. Fusion of 2 different things is the beauty of coke studio Pakistan. Music was arranged by Jaffar Zaidi for this coke studio version. He is also playing guitar among the musicians in this performance.
Aamir Zaki was not just a guitarist featured in this song, he's the best Pakistan has ever produced. That was respect given by CS Pakistan to one of its most underrated artists, Zaki passed away in poverty.

See how Raga Bhairvi is exhibited so subliminally by compounding a piece of thumri of Ustad Baray Ghulam Ali, a piece of qawali of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and slow rock a la Pink Floyd by Amir Zaki's which was added later as he had sadly passed away. That's why some looked to the heavens to pay him respects.

I am surprised there is no mention of the composer of this thumru. This is actually a composition of Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Saab of Patiala gharana, in raag Jangla bhairavi, indeed one of his most celebrated works. This interpretation of the is good, but then the original is unpareiled.
