came across this hack years ago but only attempted it tonight.
Even slowing the video down, following these directions didn't give me anything usable as a spoon, or even a scoop.
The end result for the directions here wasn't strong enough to hold the sauce.
After beginning again from a flattened out lid I slightly folded each side of pull tab first, then folded over the tip, to make that part stronger to hold the apple sauce.
Then back up to round lid part to fold each side inward. 2-3x on each side. The smaller folds allowed enough material to fold it more times, giving each side more strength.
once that part was folded & offered more support for the sauce, I slightly folded the pull tab in again {the direction towards opposite top side of lid}, then crimping each side as I formed a spoon base.
This worked great, offering more support to the spoon basin & able to hold the sauce in the basin as I dipped it into the sauce & spooned it out. it also looked more like a spoon than what resulted following the directions in this video. which after following I couldn't even shovel the sauce onto the aluminum lid using it like a semi scoop because it was too flimsy to support the sauce as I brought it to my mouth.
if anyone actually reads this, hope it helps you make something that'll work when you have no utensils on hand.

Umm yeah not the best explaining I was hoping for. What I was looking for was showing how, not by picture I need it motion wise. I work best with motion showing wise. Not hating but I'll try my best to make a rapper spoon. If I can't then I'll just fine one that explains better. Nice video 😐☺.
