  • The channel is back, friends! Enjoy the first extended interview with 3 time, female champion Tia Claire Toomey.
Tia is the first woman in history to win the CrossFit Games 3 times. She is the most dominant woman in the sport, and an amazing human being. We cover a lot of ground to say the least, and the show plays like a podcast. See below for a minute by minute breakdown. I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did.
From here I will step up the output on the channel and there is a lot of exciting stuff coming down the pipe. Stay tuned and subscribed.

“Thank you,” hardly scratches the surface in the debt of gratitude I owe to both Torin Simpson (@beardgodmedia) and Vince Sanchez (VSOProductions.com). They took the turd that I gave them and polished it up.
My brother in law, Jordan Gravatt (@tattooedmedia) also tutored me in the art of editing. I am very grateful.
Shot, Edited and Produced by me. So I’m the only one to blame.

Pro audio engineer here. This was definitely not the worst I’ve ever heard and, to me it’s enough just that you recognized the problem. So many people would have posted this without even recognizing there was an audio problem

One of the best videos I’ve watched in a long time, made me order her book right away. I felt her sadness not seeing my favorite athletes all weekend especially since this was the first year of the game so was actually able to attend. Best part of the weekend though was seeing Rory at the NoBull tent. Great job Rory!

Great interview, not to take away from any of the other CrossFit Games Champs on the ladies side, but I feel that Tia represents the Sport of Crossfit the best out of all the other tremendous lady champions. She carries herself with so much class, giving to others and shows she genuinely cares about her fellow competitors. She is very down to earth. In addition to being a 3x champ, she shows us that there is more to life than just CF and the games and tries to balance that life/professional athlete relationship.

If you hadn’t mentioned the audio issue I wouldn’t have even noticed. Don’t be so hard on yourself. You bring such a reality to the sport with your interviews and the way you conduct yourself. I’ve been a fan of yours since the first time I saw you cover this sport and you have gotten better and better and keep setting the bar higher every time. Thank you! Keep it up.

Lovely interview, a little distracted by intermittent icon on left side of tv screen but that is only criticism. Nice when interviewer allows subject to speak and not interrupt to show off research. Great insights into how much hard work goes into what seems to be a easy for champion. More please

Good interview, great job Rory. If I could've asked for one thing, it would have been a following up on what about that early games experience was negative as she just glanced over
