I was afraid of playing as a Valkyrie as I thought this class was complicated, but thanks to your Guide I decided to give it a shot and I'm having so much fun now! A long time ago I asked you why you didn't put subtitles, now I can understand you when you explain in the videos thanks to the fact that you have allowed the subtitles to be translated into other languages, it is the video that helped me the most to play the class, when I was about to give up and opt for a simpler one, thank you very much for the video and even more so for allowing your video to be translated with the subtitles, thank you very much.
Godbless you. I hopped into a stream you had recently had a nice time learning more. Only been learning for a few days and having a super fun time I have a little bit of a different PVE combo that i use, i'm 270AP with a tet kutum and farming 5k trash an hour on blue LS at lower Sycraia. Mine has a little more APM but it seems to cover the lack of damage i have in a small time frame. For those who might be curious of the combo. I start with heavens for a pull, Purification, sancti, divina vult, Shield line to their backs, Blitz, hasti, divina, casti first hit, terra lastly into verdict (key guide, Shift + LMB, F + F, Shift S, W RMB, W + F, Shift + Q, S + LMB, S + RMB, Shift + RMB. I was using this combo at orcs and Bloody monastery also. it seems to be a good combo for lower AP player but much more APM Thanks for the great guide once again :)
great guide amouu as always! i actually didn't know that holding down lmb would cancel the backwards shield chase... i've been doing discrete taps of shift+s ever since they changed it if i need to stay in awakening -_- also, for the basic combo enslar > puri > hasti > blitz > terra i think it's worth noting for newer valks that hasti has a 30% knockdown resist debuff so it's not just filler damage, but a way of increasing the chance that blitz will actually land the kd. it CAN be replaced like you said, but for people here learning the class, it's probably best to just ingrain hasti > blitz since the two skills go together so nicely and are rarely separated except in some advanced combos. ALSO, for any old valks here like myself who remember the days when terra sancta had a cc on it, the ancient combo of grab > sharp light > spear > prompt > terra > hasti > blitz actually works quite well again. it can be extended with divine slam > divine power downsmash and then re-cc again with casti, lucem fluxum, f jump core skill, etc. into another downsmash such as verdict or divine judgment of light to keep people on the ground for a really long time. anyways thanks again for a super guide! you consistently provide some of the most educational awakened valkyrie material in the community and i know a lot of people really appreciate it, myself included ♥ hope your new year is off to a great start!

I'm looking to pick up Valk after playing a Witch since the enhancement cap was +15. This guide is invaluable! I really want to focus on awakening, and I was really struggling to understand the class coming off a class that isn't combo dependent at all. Thanks for the great work!
@@amouutv Thank you! I can say that Valk is EXHAUSTING to play compared to a Witch. She moves faster and the time between skill inputs is much shorter. It's like playing a different game. Having said that, nobody has tried to gank my Valk, whereas my Witch was pretty much an auto-gank target everywhere she went. I'm not sure if it's just that I'm in lower-AP grind spots or if people are more hesitant to fight a Valk.
Hey man sp on this class is so easy to get pollies hold rmb and space bar can do this at centaurs with agris blue scroll for crazy money at season gear.... just a heads up for any new Valk 😊

After they removed echo walking, I felt quitting the game. Though I liked succession and was good at it before I even tried awakening, I found my class and it's awakening valk. But I'll give it another try after seeing you not giving up on the class. Thanks for this.

I’m a returnee, and I’ve just got back playing right after the reworks, this vid totally made me excited to getting back, BUT I feel like there’s something missing from my Valk whenever I play her now. Very uncomfortable jerks of transition from the awakened stance to the main one, so they would be redone so that you can always remain in the awakened stance. How do you think?
it would be an interesting change but i feel that it would make transitioning back to preawakening difficult since it's such an important part of our kit
I don't swap from pve to pvp skill add ons either lmao, But I still go to places like AoS with it. Then I wonder why my damage doesn't do well at times. 🤔

its possible on valk but it just needs to be well thought out! things like hasti/prompt/camera turn/shield chase could be one example of fully safe movement and there's many different ways to chain them

Why do you call it F jump? Cuz when you press F it jumps? My line of thinking is that it's an input, press F then space but I don't see you pressing space after F in your keyboard software inputs on screen.
hey! yeah sorry about that, normally i just refer to it as F jump because pressing F in awakening causes the skill to be used. and i normally do it extremely fast so the key input may not catch it

7:45 I find that 3 skills with attack speed 7% is a little overkill as I'm able to keep the buff up indefinitely with 2 add-ons. Try 3% crit damage after celestial spear along with 20% crit chance since you will be guaranteed the bonus damage while lingering 100% crit. Just a small change but I like your add-ons

yeah they removed it intentionally, since with the buffs it would have been pretty crazy to still have in the game 😔

@@sedane94 skill add on buffs/debuffs will stack with whatever buff/debuff comes with the skill... So you would get a -35 dp debuff with both

Yes! the lmb space q basic movement got changed so you need to do Q - lmb - space - Q, as far as changes go that’s the biggest one
