It means that US and Dutch equipment has backdoors.
Well this is Dutch equipment, not US. And no - this is not considered a backdoor as the software needs constant updates and communication with ASML for it to be functional. This has always been known by every party involved and is the way of such sophisticated equipment
@@valetudo1569damn ! U like American. 😂😂😂 what ever you want to say
The very reason that the US and its vassals states ban Huawei is because after more than a decade of bashing and allegations with lies against Huawei, the US and its vassals can neither find nor prove any backdoor to Huawei's mobiles, thus the US and its vassals cannot spy on Huawei mobiles.
The west better not cry when china retailiates by doing the same in the future because we chinese remember what you westerners done to us in the past, we chinese never forget.
@@bluefish7940 The same as people who are using personal computers, either laptop or desktop, most of them are running Window software and it is owned by Microsoft and DEFINITELY IT HAS BACKDOORS AS WELL TO SPY EVERYONG ON EARTH....FRIENDS OR FOES TO THE U S GOVERNMENT.......that why the Chinese are trying to make their own software.....in the future....the Chinese will use their own-made hardware and software. That why the U S doesn't allow Huawei and ZTE products to sell in its market and they are also forced their closest allies not to use them because they can't spy on their allies.
The propaganda is strong in this one. “Sources”
Obviously there is a way to disable it, question is how long for China to figure a work around.
I don’t think there is a work around when dealing with a bombed building which is likely what the US will do if China ever gets close to winning a Taiwan invasion
After that they would never be able to start the machines up again and China will be suffering the most
China doesnt need this stuff. it certainly wouldnt invade Taiwan just to be able to make slightly better mobile phone chips.
Very fast !
@@themiddlekingdom9121 but not fast enough.
1:00 hmm SAR metering
Thanks DW reporter for the warning and hope China Taiwan will reunite in peace.. ❤❤
Who makes Huawei’s chips?
Huawei s chips is a Policy, Chinese Policy, Absolutely...
Both TSMC and SMIC.
@@1ndragunawan Yes, Clear and Inevitable...
Well you cannot say it . Big Bro is crawling the crumbs

Hmm…. Will that be using back door
Everytime I switched to US TV channels ... they always said about war, invade, etc ... what a boring country
Well, the US is literally there for wars in the first place? Wars after the US win the world war isn't the same anymore, it's about money for them. So that's why they always try to make a conflict so that they can sell the arms.
Boring country? No. Boring news? Yes.
CHINA will not invade TAIWAN. GOD BLESS TAIWAN. ❤❤❤❤❤🎉
it is civil war
They might, one day
It's not an invasion, it's a reunification
@@yongjunma7511Yes, civil war, it's impossible now...
Keep dreaming
ASML has the capability to remotely disable advanced EUV chip-making machines. Similarly, Israel or the United States can remotely control a U.S.-made helicopter and crash it into a mountain, potentially making it appear as an accident. Technically, this is not difficult to achieve.
It's difficult to achieve, since it was a Vietnam war era helicopter.
This is why China is struggling to have its own chip industry independent of the West!
the end of ASML and TSMC in china, they gonna invest in own products from now on. Somebody didnt got the message after the first sanction in chip industry in china. A loss a revenue about 300 billion for smsung TSMC ASML and co.
Next time before deciding what's good for Taiwanese, international has to see who is CCP.. Now because of all agree one china policy and China will do reunification in force/war to Taiwan, who responsible for it??????????????????????
I am hope Taiwanese still safe.............
So it is not up to the Taiwanese to decide the fate of their asset, how is it all right they should decide the fate of their land?
So Taiwan is about Nvidia, Intel, AMD and Qualcomm..
Made in Murika_Fascism
But the West mainstream is promoting AI Growth Rhetoric😊
Taiwan has their right to defend themselves
sure!
China threatening to invade Taiwan for its semiconductor assets
is like a robber planning a robbery of a treasure vault. LOL
because China can, so what's your problem?
TW is part of China very strategically important for the nation, even without any people on it.
China has made no such threat.
instead USA robbed it first and twist the story around like you did kumar.
SONS OF THE PATRIOTS LA LI LU LE LO
It doesn't matter how many times the Chinese regime repeats the *lies,*
- Taiwan 🇹🇼 is still an independent country.
recognized by 12 small countries left only and continue to lose them.
Well. I know many in Taiwan wish that it can be independent of China, and I wish they can do so without any war or bloodshed.
But the fact is the island has been treated historically as part of China for centuries except when occupied by the Japanese for a short period.
So it is either a part of China, or a part of Japan. And since Japan has not made any claim to it now, it is part of China.

Why Taiwan flag shown question mark in CZcams???
@@meekmatt55 Because it's the flag of the Republic of China but of "Taiwan", because there is no country name Taiwan in the world at all.
Imagine Texas try to go independent and China warns Washington they can disable all the iPhones.
That would be great lol
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
lol usa news is so funny lol
the chip factory is not the aim.
Yes and China (+ anybody who understands even a bit about these machines) already knew this, always. This is not new or secret that the machines wouldn't work without their approval
TSMC is a fabricator, Intel is a Power Design House. a chihuahua, and a Pitbull dog.
all this technology to have a crappy sound as this
TAIWAN IS A PART OF CHINA ACCORDING TO THE U.S GOVERNMENT AND THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY. ONE CHINA POLICY SIGNED BY PRESIDENT JIMMY CARTER 1979. THE SHANGHAI COMMUNIQUE SIGNED BY PRESIDENT NIXON 1972. TAIWAN IS NOT AN INDEPENDENT COUNTRY. IT IS S PART OF CHINA. SO CHINA CAN NOT INVADE CHINA.
No it isn't. You misunderstand it
Who's the CCP governor of Taiwan with an office in Taipei then?
In case of war there will be other things Taiwanese should be worrying for than TSMC. Like securing their food supplies, a land locked Island Nation that produces no fuel of her own !!!! 😂😂😂😂😂
That won’t be a worry, they’ll have US warships supplying them
