Worthy should be, if not Tyreek 2.0, at least Tyreek 0.9. When Rice gets back from suspension (I'm guessing 2-4 games, up to 6), Chiefs have one of the scariest WR/TE rooms in the NFL. Seems to me that Ross and Toney will be fighting for 6th (final) WR spot. Nice vid, Chad. Keep up the good work.
I appreciate it! Thanks for the support! I completely agree with you. I had a feeling Veach would overhaul the WR room this year and I'm pleasantly surprised at how he did it. This could be the best set of weapons Mahomes has had so far. When Justyn Ross and Kadarius Toney are on the bubble at the end of the WR depth chart you're in a good spot.
I am SO glad the Chiefs drafted this guy and we didn't...he will last a few season just like John Ross did. If he even last that long. This guy is TINY. When are people going to learn that speed does NOT make you a great NFL WR.
I'm also concerned about his size mostly against press. He's surprisingly a strong player for his size and he is actually a great route runner with a large route tree, not just some go route guy that only used his speed. I think at worst he ends up a better Mecole Hardman as long as his head isn't taken off 😂. I like Ricky Pearsell for the 9ers. I wasn't sure he or Worthy would be first round picks but if you think someone is going to take him and you think he's your guy then draft him early. The Lions last year proved that is a fine option. Like 3 of their picks were "reaches" and look at how good they were.
