Sephora needs to ONLY refund the debit card that made the purchase. The hackers wouldn’t get ANY money that way.
If this doesn’t happen already, that’s their first HUGE mistake
Sephora issue: it’s an inside job. Someone who works there knows how the system works and keeps hacking in despite the failsafes.
It has to be I saw so many tiktoks of peoples accounts being hacked and people with the Sephora credit cards being stolen and used

Along with drugs they got off in a twisted way with hacking systems so when they didn't want to sleep on the street's they hack hotel's and book a room with someone else credit card information it was honestly insane on how they managed to hack these systems I watched it with my own eyes & still was in shocked disbelief they coukd managed to hack a system with strong security..
@@ericarankin1946 so my point is it's not always a inside job may sound like it but the average Joe like you & I couldn't hack through such a system but someone woth the brains/know how can easily hack through these systems like nothing in fact look what happens to the government a couple years ago when they got their system hacked by not someone that works inside but instead their system got hacked by some nobody who happens t0nhave the brain smarts to do such a hack job..
CAN CONFIRM - someone close to me was on Squid Game and it was awful. It was totally rigged and the conditions were horrible. It wrecked this person for weeks.

It’s an inside job! Happened to me too! Sephora no more for me! It happened immediately after I made an in store purchase! My points vanished & they INSISTED that I used them😡 Nope! I did not. It happened at a CA Sephora.

Yeah the Sephora hacking definitely sounds like an inside job. I work for a retail clothing company and we have a loyalty rewards program. Employees have access to all of the information! Most companies also have their own personal customer service number that only stores can contact. I recommend you reach out to a Store Manager and ask for their District or regional manager to contact you regarding this issue. Customer service is not going to escalate this like one of the corporate leaders will. I hope you are able to get this resolved!

I think the storylines were purposefully to make you think a certain person would be on longer and then throw new peoples stories in towards the end that were actually on longer. Which is exactly what they did. I liked that bc I thought I had it figured out on who won. So it was a good idea to twist it up.

This same thing happened to me but with the stop and shop app. They were online ordering hundreds of dollars worth of food and on my debit card of all things ugh a messsss

How are the hackers getting money from sephora? If they process a return, wouldnt the money go back to the original form of payment?
They are hacking the account and changing all the information including the card information
A lot of companys sephora included is allowing payments to be returned via orginal payment or else gift cards and for in store purchases they offer cash & gift card payments to be returned in those forms

Similar happened to me with my Ulta account over the summer. They ordered 2 bottles of expensive perfumes to pick up in store! It was at another state too. I called as soon as I got the “we’re working on your order” email and they said they would contact the store to cancel the order (I’m thinking to catch the thief too). I got my account back via customer service and changed my stuff. Wild that when I called, the call got dropped and then I got a call back at the same time that I was calling them back. I was confused on who I was speaking with. Thought I was talking to the hacker! Scary! I still got the order was picked up email after re-adding my email to the account. I did get my points back and got an email from a manager like 10 days later advising the investigation was complete and followed up with me but I was still terrified to even reply on either attempt saying thank you! Wow that it happened to you through Sephora! 😨 😳

I don’t understand…. How would someone send all your points to their self. And how could they get refunds for your packages that you paid for with your card, wouldn’t it just come back to your card
I'm assuming you can decide how to receive your refund from the account they stole. Normally there are options as to how you want your payment back. Maybe in the form of a gift card or something like that.
they could have added their card info and refunded it onto a different one. or a gift card.

Amazon accounts are getting hacked too. Check your addresses on your account and random people are putting Amazon lockers to steal packages. Found one yesterday from a woman in Pasadena. I live in NorCal, no where near Pasadena!!!
Thanks for this heads for temporary reasoning I removed credit card information including my ebt card information as well off their because I am struggling enough and don't need no one stealing my food money nor causing issues to the bank either for stealing. Instead nipped it in the butt of removing all information rather be safe then sorry..

Sephora is trash. I had an awful experience with their customer service years ago of them not sending me my order & trying to not give me a refund. Eventually I got a partial refund & none of my stuff. That was the last time I ever shopped at Sephora. Ulta girly for life✨
