gotta be honest, this was pretty good! the small drumset with only a snare, high-hat, and a kick was pretty cool and its amazing how low he was playing but it sounded so tender and smooth. keep it up!

I think it does. I’m actually really glad it’s so different from the original. The best covers totally reimagine the song and help you see it in a different light. This version is a lot less mournful/mopey than the original; this fights back, it picks itself up to go on. Nice job SP!!

I love the style of this one. Between the slide and the synth it gives a slightly different flavor, and the changes in the chorus are really vibing. Reminds me of FORQ. I think it works better for this song than just making it faster would've worked.

I feel the same way. In fairness, the original and the cover by Yebba was soulful. This is more funky so it's supposed to do something different, and perhaps it's not fair to compare.

I think this is the first arrangement you guys have done that I've not liked. I was initially disappointed but then I realized how absurd it is that that hasn't already happened. Even more than that, I feel like the biggest problem is that the original song is just too perfect. It literally already sounds like a Scary Pockets cover of itself.
It’s a matter of taste. I listened to the original a couple of times to see what I was missing. Suffice it to say that version is probably never going to bump this version from my regular rotation.
