I used to play with a legendary pianist that played exactly like this guy. Chopping those keys just cuz it’s more funky and he’s so good that he can, and it somehow makes everything better. Great jam guys. Such stellar musicianship all around.

I really loved Charlie Puth's original bassline and was afraid it was going to detract from the song, but Sophia's voice just filled up the gaps and went: HAVE SOME MORE. Fantastic job!

Leland's bass playing is like Steve Gadd's drumming to me, it's like they create/ provide the hooks that pull you in! Listen to his opening riff on Doctor my eyes for just one example
