On a side note, Reynor's mental fortitude really is admirable, I certainly would feel terrible losing the 5th match after winning 2 matches in a row, at death's door
Reynor, imo, didnt have the right mindset going into gsl. Looked more like he just went there relying on his nat talent instead of scouting hi s opponent, but if he doesnt do it in game, he was never gonna do it irl. Also looks like he still hasnt learnt that lesson. gsl is another beast, you have to approach it differently. I hope this clicks for him and he goes back, prepped, and gives us the showing we know he can achieve.
Yea, GSL is just completely different. It runs for so long, the meta can shift during the course of the tournament, and players have plenty of time to prepare for very specific opponents on top of very specific maps.

Hi Pig! This is really random but l just thought of it. what do u think of allowing the old player "Life" to play starcraft 2? Maybe u dont know who Life is but he was a great zerg player that got baned cuz what he did... been couple years some think he should come back some dont. what do u think?

I watched his first GSL finals win over MVP live in the audience! I'd be fine to let him play again, though I know a lot of fans and the Korean community wouldn't be ok with it. I feel that what he did was very bad but he was so young at the time that I'd extend him some leniency - he's already had some huge consequences of his actions.

yeah a bad habit we have in the sc2 community is calling committing heavily to an attack "a "3-base all-in" or something like that. It's pretty deep in the vernacular at this point so it's hard to kick since that's how pros talk about it between each other.

Honestly Maru always claps Reynor lol. Pretty sure Reynor has ptsd everytime heâs matched against Maru.
Except that Reynor beating MAru at the more important tournament, 2 straight IEM and the last DH Summer.
Too bad they dont qualify in gsl.. I think serral will.have a chance

Trying to beat BC builds without making infestors to take them is really dumb. Letting a terran make 4 bases while having just 2 bc and 3 hellion with zero harass, is even worse. Deserved loss.

Race "disadvantage"?đ€ 5 of the current top 10 players on Aligulac are Terran, including Maru at #2 (Reynor is #3 for reference, with Cure and Clem (the 2nd and 3rd highest ranked Terrans after Maru) ranked #4 and #5, respectively).
Serral (#1) , Reynor (#3) and Dark (#9) are the only Zergs *currently* in the top 10 with MaxPax (#6) and her0 (#7) being the only two Protoss. If anyone has a "disadvantage", it's Protoss.
lmfao I love these Terrans who probably aren't even master complaining about balance.
While the races are currently relatively balanced at top level, Terran has a clear advantage at lower leagues (up to and including diamond) due to how the race works - big punish potential with Tanks and mines, 'band-aid' mechanics in MULEs and Scans, easiest to harass enemy economy with a simple shift command on medivacs/hellions/Lib/etc, low-risk medium-reward gameplay in general.
Meanwhile Protoss needs tier 3 units to deal with Marines and Siege Tanks and simply can't inflict as much damage when harassing Terran due to SCV's health (Oracles and Adepts need 3 shots rather than 2). Zerg simply dies if they don't scout properly and make a round of drones instead of units when the enemy moves out.
*Which is fine* and pushes players toward improving, but Terran is certainly the one that feels the most oppressive when it's really strong - e.g. picking up sieged tanks and when the BC remake came out.
