    EPROM date codes 1987-93 stamp found inside 1997,
    main CPU is Z80 at 5.911MHz

    One before the grid is there to test cables and remote links, the different pulses are there to detect reflections and gain differences across the video bandwidth.

    The 17.7Mhz crystal is 4X colour subcarrier. In the US NTSC units, it would be 14.31818 MHz.

    Cool device. So sad that analog TV era has irrevocably passed. Now there is all the digital stuff: ugly and cheap. Zilog CPU - is great. The first CPU that I started my IT career with.
