For some reason, my brain is telling me that 아무 is informal. Is that right?
Kang Yeosang usually says 아무래도

아무 itself isn't informal.

I'm at a point where I know all the rules that you're teaching. I'm currently just memorizing vocab nouns verbs and adjectives. I don't know how to move forward

How's 누구나 different from 아무나?
누구나 is essentially used like 누구든지 ("whoever"), just with a different nuance. I did a lesson about 든(지) in my live stream playlist which also explains this nuance difference.
