    I love watching you guys. Your pups are gorgeous. I love harvest host. Most of them have great scenery. There’s also nice lovely local treats to be found. Thanks for sharing friends.

    HH is great when it works, but if you have a large rig/trailer make sure they can accommodate. The host may list +45 feet but have a 12' wide driveway with a 90deg turn w/ culverts. Had to back out a few times now. From now on we check google maps as best we can to scout out the location

    Happy belated birthday Bonnie!! Also I can't believe you're JUST NOW using harvest hosts. We LOVE them. But adding Boondockers welcome to it has changed our lives! We're at a Boondockers welcome spot in NM right now while we wait out some wildfires!

      Agreed. But I think we're going to Trinidad CO as soon as the fires are done (hopefully a week). We should try to connect! I haven't been super active on the RVbunny account but feel free to message me on there!

      @@crystalmilvo2511 we are changing course due to the weather. It’s supposed to be very windy in Colorado so we are going to back south. It’s unfortunate but we think it’s best.

    hey friends.... enjoyed the video...
    I just wished that Harvest Host would not hit my card un-aware.
    If you don't want them, you have to actually go in and cancel your subscription,
    else they will automatically charge you EVERY year.
    You may have a bad year medically or financially.. no matter they will charge you
    unless you cancel out your whole deal.
    This year.... I didn't want to use it. I'm thinking that I won't sign up this year.
    But guess what?
    They charged hit me for $159...... Now I am a member for another year... "Like it or not"
    Beware of this when you chose to buy in.....
    Because of this policy... I will never buy another membership with them again....

    Aren’t you expected to support the Harvest Host by purchasing merchandise from them? I don’t get what you’d buy at a Hay Farm?

    • @BonnieBrenden
      @BonnieBrenden  Před 2 lety

      Yeah. They let us just venmo them. They didn’t have any products for us to buy. We have stayed at others and typically we buy their products or attend their events.

    Hi - we are new to RVing. We have a dog that will trave with us. I am concerned on what we are to do with our dog when we go into the harvest host businesses or surrounding local businesses. What do you do with your 2 dogs when you go into the breweries and ice cream stores?

    We used harvest host a lot our first year in our RV. We only paid for harvest host and not boondockers welcome. We chose HH because we have kids and thought staying at farms would be cool but I don't like that we paid $90 for the year and then we are expected to spend money at the HH. Don't get me wrong, I love supporting local businesses but the prices were steep. When someone tells you HH is free they are lying. This year we plan to boondock in the national forests and blm land a lot. If we need a one night stay there is always tuck stops and cracker barrel's.

    • @BonnieBrenden
      @BonnieBrenden  Před rokem

      @@BonnieBrenden I didn't mean to accuse you of doing it. You do say that there is the yearly fee. I just hear it all the time from other people. Like I said, we used HH a lot. The first 4 nighs we lived in our travel trailer we stayed at harvest hosts, so they have been good for us.

      What is an average nights stay or do they all vary? (Without purchasing extra goods or services)
