    My Dad always said if stopped by RAFP dog handler ,show you ID card to the dog ,they are the brains of the outfit .

    It was interesting that when a RAFP dog handler retired he was given the chance to keep his dog.
    Those were the days when each RAFP had his own individual dog, and not a compound dogs.

    I was an armourer and the only people who ever tried to hand a weapon back to me muzzle first through the armoury hatch were RAF Policemen, on more than one occasion -- make of that what you will!

    I told my dad I wanted to be a RAF Rozzer and he point blank said no you are not. He was a DFC WW2 aircrew and he hated the ter wats with a passion. Joined the RM. Much wiser choice. Cheers dad RIP.

      Their Cpl sent his boys to bed & we had a drink with him.
