Yes, it does .. really have no issues whatsoever .. I felt these newly redesigned keyboards are very close to Apple’s Magic Keyboard when it comes to the float and the angle 😊

Yes, when I saw the design intially, even I was curious myself as I wanted it to work without the sleeve as well .. thankfully, it does work 😊

Pity there isn’t 2 usb-c ports, one on each side, at the same location than on Apple Magic keyboard : it would be more convenient to have the choice of the sidd to plug the charger.
Also, I am not sure to be a big fan of the floating design, and I would prefer regular Macbook Air style, with keys on top of the keyboard and a bigger trackpad below.
Patiently waiting for them to release the same case for the 11" M2 Air.

Do the ipad sticks to the keyboard in portrait mode without the bumper case ? Just like it does in landscape mode ?
No
Yes, like the other comment suggested, it doesn’t stick in portrait mode without the inner sleeve as the iPad doesn’t have the required magnets in that position.
so i bought this keyboard and i’m loving it so far, but right clicking doesn’t seem to work. does the trackpad not support that?

I got the same one today but two buttons are not working at all. The space button does not working and the Caps lock button is not working at all! What’s wrong with this product!
What?? In all my years with ESR products, I never had a single issue .. get in touch with their support, they are very good at sorting issues!

Nope, no lag at all!! This really is an amazing trackpad implementation outside of Apple’s own Magic Keyboard

No, but ESR makes other cases for this particular model.
The one which I showed in my video is for 13 inch iPad Air model, but it ESR does offer computable versions for other iPads as well .. please check link in description

No, but ESR has a similar case for the 11” version.

Why didn’t they make the connection using the smart connector?
Apple’s proprietary connection .. don’t think they license it out to third party manufacturers!

The problem with this… “casing” is the fact that it becomes extremely heavy to carry.
Yes, it does add in bit of extra weight .. but it’s the same with all these type of magnetic cases!

😂this is the new product and I have reported them twice. The shift button won’t work with browser or third party app. The shift button is only work with Apple notes. I have sent them multiple emails.
Typing with the SAME keyboard and BOTH shift keys seem to be working pretty fine.
