@@DoublePulse21-gv4ox ???🤔Umm, how would you be scared if the ship sinks and you’re sleeping while it sinks??🧐 You doubled your thoughts, you will have no pulse to be scared🫤
My first cruise, for muster drill everyone had to gather to their muster stations at a set time, wait for the crew member to arrive and then listen to all the instructions. On my second cruise, you just went to the muster station when you wanted and the crew member was there waiting. He went over the instructions and signed you off. A lot easier then the first time.
Yeah, life is sooo hard. First world problems. I’m sure a LOT of people would change places with you if all they had to worry about was waiting for a staff member to show up at a muster drill. 🙄
So true I remember going on a cruise pre-COVID and we all had to go to the same area, and be cramped together, for like 30 minutes.i was younger then so that was so boring, but I went when I was older recently and we could watch it online from our cabin
Did our first cruise in January and these tips pretty much nail it. We boarded early, explored the ship while our bags were delivered to our room, got in the pool for a quick swim, ate a late lunch and had a few cocktails. Loved it 😊
We got on the ship. We gave our suit cases to the workers, yet still held some carry on stuff. We were on the boat for 10 minutes, and my parents already had drinks in their hands lol. That was an amazing week.
@@EG-ww4bzAh yes a family or individual that wants to go on a vacation is now marked as a bad thing and being hooked on materialism. Soon having a roof over your head will be materialism and you shouldn’t even need a roof. And then having plumbing?!?!? God doge is plumbing too, that’s materialistic just do an out house and tank. And omfg running water?!?!? God forbid. People should collect rainwater.
Orrr security search your suitcases and don't tell you, so they never arrive at the cabin, and you have to depart and muster without them and miss the sailaway party, running around the ship looking for various staff, until you eventually find them. Proves just how amazing the rest of the cruise was that I'd forgotten about this mini-disaster until just now and generally consider that my best holiday ever!
No no I most definitely AM NOT going to sleep at all the first night with the thought of knowing we could possibly hit an iceberg of sorts in the back of my head
Sooo….the same thought of knowing you “could possibly hit an iceberg of sorts”wouldn’t be in the back of your head on the second, third, or other nights??🤔
@@bunnydimples1283 that’s called simple psychology lol after the first night I would be accommodated to the ship. And hopefully all the activities would cloud my mind so I wouldn’t have to worry about that thought anymore lolol
The first thing me and my family do when we get on the ship and take a shower not only is the water pressure amazing but it gives your a refreshing feel from the airport and traveling feel off of you 😌
These videos have really been helping me! I’m going on my first ever cruise in December and have been rather nervous and excited about it seeing what to expect has made me feel better 😊
Honestly, inside cabins are great! The lack of windows isn't a problem when you want to take a mid-day nap. Plus, how much do you really want to stay in your room?
Dude I was on carnival dream and when we first got on I had to pee sooooo bad and my mom was like ok go take Allie with you (aka my older cousin) and we spent like a whole hour just to find the bathroom💀literally explored the whole ship😭
I actually used to work for a staffing company that would do luggage for guests boarding a cruise ship, and the closest I've ever gotten to going on a cruise is wheeling somebody up in a wheelchair up to the top and then immediately turning around and going back down.
I wonder how many thought it was called a mustard drill😅🤣 Calling "muster" is basically taking attendance and going over the plans of the day...goNavy⚓️
Just a heads-up for people with sensory issues- muster drills are very loud and chaotic. They have gotten less so with Covid but be prepared for sensory overload, especially in little ones
No. Many venues are closed at night, but there’s always at least one cafe open 24 hours. You can grab a drink and a snack and sit on the deck as late as you want. It is expected that you will not make noise after 11 pm.
The first thing I do is look for the smoking areas and how close they are to bars, which are usually a few feet away and then I memorize them. Then I relax, have a smoke and a beer, then go find something to eat after the rush is over.
So I knew you could walk off your own luggage but had no idea you could walk your own luggage ON to the ship. What are the pros/cons to walking luggage onto the ship? I did my first ever cruise last week and walked my own luggage off the ship … and it was extremely easy/smooth disembarking.
Lol I’ve been on several cruises and it’s actually not that ridiculous. Most people have their luggage delivered to their rooms, while they’re hanging out at the buffet or having drinks at the bar
My first day people like were not going to the muster drill like we went and they kept announcing to go over and over and it took a couple of hours for people to do it and we were finally able to depart
I sleep so much better on a cruise than on land. I honestly think it’s because when I’m on a cruise, nothing beats waking up in a different port
it’s because we’re being Rocked to sleep on water
Sleepwell knowing ur on a mega polluter that pollutes the air more then 2000 cars do in a life time

Yup! They completely changed the muster drill after the pandemic!

Sleeping on a cruise that is something I rlly wanna do. Being on a ship at night in general is probably so nice
some of the best sleep i’ve had. the rocking is so calming and puts me to sleep so fast lol
i hope you get to experience it sometime!❤
Yes! My favorite is waking up early the next morning and having a cup of coffee, while on the balcony watching the sunrise

One cruise, they reassigned us to another cabin. We had difficulty finding our cabin. Our luggage came close to bedtime (around 10).😊
Love your videos. I'm always sharing them with my clients to watch to fet them excited and ready for their cruise
On a cruise I went on, we watched the cinema underneath the stars 🌟

What cruise was it? Sorry I’m so nosey lol.
Me & my wax pen, will cause me to gain 10pounds after cruise🤣. So much free food🤣🤣
The food. Oh, the food. Scrumptious. Satisfying.
My Royal Cruises 🇺🇲
I'm amazed the ice rinks, I didn't know that was a thing! Super cool!
This made me really hangry
First day on the ship make reservations for dinner in the better dining rooms
What my cousin does on cruises:
1: stress
2: stress counting the days until it ends
3: waste time wishing they could stay longer

We watched the harbor master depart the ship in Long Beach. It was AMAZING.❤❤❤

Exactly how I remember ❤️❤️
anthem of the seas!! i was just on that ship!! love ur vids, new sub!
I was on Ruby Princess when it hit the dock in San Fransisco. It took like 4 days for people to repair the ship. It was also my first cruise
I was going to cancel my cruise tomorrow cause I am skeptical but after watching your videos I feel better
Man I'm so JEALOUS!😂😂
We stayed up so late that first night and three of us hit our drink limit of the day. Good times.
Ughhh this makes me miss my cruise so much!!!
I try to find a place to watch the wake of the ship. The ship is leaving the port and the mighty water is boiling!

I'm from a cold northern state. When I cruise in the winter I go straight to the pool.

No. Many venues are closed at night, but there’s always at least one cafe open 24 hours. You can grab a drink and a snack and sit on the deck as late as you want. It is expected that you will not make noise after 11 pm.
