    Thanks for sharing! I've been to Lofoten several times (I grew up an hour further east), but I love watching videos from there, as I get homesick now that I live in TromsĂž. I also find it very interesting to see foreigners' impressions, since you/they often notice other things than the locals do! Great choice of music, if it was a bit loud compared to the spoken parts.

    I just got back from a trip to Scandinavia, in Norway I flew to Tromso and did a 4 day road trip to Lofoten Islands I visited all the important destinations going all the way to "A", but I had no time to do any hikes since it was such a huge area to cover by car. I was staying just outside Svolvaer at a campground in a cabin, that was my first mistake, had to share a single shower with all the campground, but the views were amazing, guess that made up for it. I also never got to do any excursions, wanted to do a Fjyord Cruise, and see the Sea Eagles, missed both. I used the fourth day to drive all the way up to Andense and ferry to Gryllefjord, and back to Tromso, I think that was a unnecessary day wasted I could have used to relax in Svolvaer because its a huge road trip diversion adding an extra 10 hours return to Tromso.
    I think next time I will fly to Bodo and take the ferry from Skutvik to Svolvaer and take the local bus to go around and do some of the Hiking and excursions and relax more rather then drive around like crazy. Great video.

    I really love your nature shots! That was an awesome clip of the 2 eagles. You must have been using a super long lens, right? I love the football pitch on the island. I'd seen lots of drone shots on Instagram but I had no idea it was in Lofoten! I enjoyed the reindeer traffic jam. He really doesn't want you to leave! Beautiful close-up shots of him. Also, I really love your colour grading! All in all, awesome video :)

Terrific drone footage, especially of the soccer field island! Awesome video man. I'm unsure whether to start in Svolvaer or Meskenes as I'll be arriving from Bodo. Also, do you recommend hiring a car or can you get to most places by bus? Thanks

    • @itsryanwilkes
      @itsryanwilkes  Pƙed 4 lety +2

      Thanks mate! You definitely want to have a car. The buses will probably only run through the main towns/cities, so if you want to go do some hiking you'll have a very hard time getting there by bus. So I would rent a car in Bodo and take it on the ferry. Start in Moskenes since I think that is where the ferry will be taking you. Let me know if you have any other questions!
