Having worked in Norway for the last 4 years (Ålesund and Stavanger), I can say, from my experience, that most of Norway is beautiful, safe, friendly and full of things to do. Wish I could convince the wife to move. Another great video 👍
Hi James! 🌍 Thank you for your wonderful feedback! It's fantastic to hear about your positive experiences in Norway, especially in Ålesund and Stavanger. Your insight into the country's beauty and friendly atmosphere is valuable. Wishing you the best in convincing the wife, and I'm thrilled you enjoyed the video! 👍😊
This video was incredible. Cold Water, Coffee, Hiking, and Good Food? Sign me up! Thanks for all the great info on Lofoten.
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it 😊
Wow Kristin finally edited and uploaded the footage from Norway.
Thank you very much! Everyone should go sign up the Portugal trip or any trip hosted by you!

Holy moly - Lofoten is officially on my list now! Thanks for the eye candy, Kristin :-)
You're very welcome Nora! 😊 I'm thrilled to hear Lofoten has made it onto your list. It's truly a gem. 🏔️🌟
I'm so jealous!! 😮 I want so badly to move to Norway. The beauty, the food, and the slow living is just so appealing. Not to mention, I love cold snowy weather 😊 Thanks for the lovely video ❤
😊 Thank you for your kind words, @mounthoodsts! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and share the love for Norway's beauty and lifestyle. It truly is a special place. Wishing you the best in making your dream of moving to Norway come true! 🇳🇴❤️
as someone who finds Florida chilly, Norway is over my limit, but fun to see you doing it.
Thank you for watching, @williamdoyle! I totally understand, Norway's cold weather isn't for everyone. I appreciate you joining in on the adventure from the warmer side of things in Florida! 😊☀️
Great video with amazing tips!
Thank you so much @oneloren! I'm glad you found the video helpful. 😊🎥
Wow, so beautiful! I would love to see it myself. I agree with you about trying the local cuisine. Definitely looks good. Thanks for sharing.
You're very welcome, Steve Mellor! I'm glad you enjoyed the beauty of Lofoten, and I completely agree about exploring local cuisine-it adds a wonderful dimension to the experience. If you ever get the chance to visit, I hope you have an amazing time! 😊🌍🍽️
The Lofoten Islands look really impressive! I have a friend who has gone there twice and has really enjoyed it. The landscapes look really cool! Awesome video Kristin!
Thank you so much, @scottman895! I'm thrilled to hear your friend had a great experience in Lofoten, and I appreciate your kind words about the video. The landscapes truly are something special! 😊🏞️
Lofoten, Norway, entices visitors with its awe-inspiring natural beauty, featuring majestic mountains, pristine beaches, and picturesque fishing villages, providing an unparalleled opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to indulge in activities like hiking, fishing, and witnessing the mesmerizing Northern Lights.
Absolutely, @0ExploreX! Lofoten is a true gem, captivating with its breathtaking landscapes and diverse outdoor activities. It's a paradise for nature lovers. If you ever plan a visit, I'm sure it'll be a memorable experience! 🏞️✨
You are right, that place is fricken gorgeous! Such amazing views from nearly everywhere, a nice coworking space, what a wonderful month you had.
Absolutely, Cindy! It was an incredible month filled with stunning views and a great coworking space. So glad you enjoyed the beauty of the place! 😊🏞️
Kristin: another great job! Michael Palin may have pioneered travel blogs but your channel is definitely the benchmark. Interesting content, great photography and editing.
No schmaltz and malarkey! You’ve had a great life and showed others living abroad and travelling are an obtainable goal. Thanks for all your hard work! 💐🙏😘
Wow, thank you so much for your incredibly kind words @Dinsdale2020! I'm touched that my content resonates with you. It means a lot to hear that I've been able to inspire and share the joy of living abroad and traveling. Your support is truly appreciated! 💐🙏😊
BEAUTIFUL
Nice video! The airports mentioned at 2:50 is not quite correct, though. Bodø and Evenes are the "large" airports where SAS, Norwegian and some other airlines fly to, and Svolvær and Leknes are the small(er) airports where only Wideøe fly with their 39-seat propeller planes.
Thanks for the clarification @LillevikLofoten! Your input helps ensure accurate information for everyone watching. Much appreciated! 😊✈️
Wow..! So beautiful..! I know Norway is a beautiful country. Exploring places like this is my dream. Away from this hustle and bustle and living life working remotely of course so exciting and fulfilling. And if it's with a beautiful and wise host like you, it'll be a heavenly experience.!😊
Thank you for your incredibly kind words, Jay nair! 😊 I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. Remote work does add a special touch to the experience. If you ever embark on such an adventure, I hope it's everything you dream of! 🌟🏞️
OMG I was just in Tromsø as Bodø ran out of airbnb stays, lol. Not going to Reine was my single regret, Norway is truly out of this world beautiful. Ålesund in particular will forever be my favorite place on the planet, at least until I get to Lofoten ;)
That sounds like an amazing adventure, @MrChazasaurus88! 😄 Indeed, Norway is truly out of this world beautiful. Safe travels on your future Norwegian explorations. 🌍✨
Ooooh. I think I saw a fish farm pen at 14:10. Thanks for the video. Constant reminder that I need to expand my horizons beyond SE Asia. :)
You've got a keen eye Dave M! 😊 I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and it's wonderful to hear it sparked thoughts of expanding your horizons. There's a big world out there to explore! 🌏✨
@@TravelingwithKristin I'm jealous of my friends in Cambodia who are making short trips to Thailand or Laos. So, between you and my friends, I'm constantly reminded about getting away. Going back to Cambodia for a month. Visiting friends, and fish farms, around the country. And a week of remote work. Safe travels Kristin. 😊
Hey Kristin. I'm a subscriber and watched many of your videos. I was wondering if you have a home base somewhere, and if you might do a video on having a home base and traveling back and forth... maybe... not sure if it's a good idea or not. Just curious about how you manage all this travel.
Hi Michelle T.! Thanks for being a subscriber and tuning in! 🌟 I currently don't have a home base, but I advocate for slow travel and did a podcast on why I find it easier: www.badassdigitalnomads.com/slow-travel-tips-from-nora-dunn-the-professional-hobo/ Happy travels! 🌍😊
I like traveling but to a point. For me it would get old in short time. Even now sometimes I'm away from home two or three days at a time and I just can't wait to get back home. I can't imagine being on the go 24/7 but I guess you have to be "built" for it!
I totally understand, @jaxxonbalboa! Traveling can be intense, and everyone has their comfort zone. It's great that you appreciate the balance and the comfort of home. We all have our own rhythm, and that's what makes life interesting! 😊🏡
Its too bad that lodge closed down otherwise id love to go
IKR, that's a bummer about the lodge closure. I hope you get the chance to explore the area in the future-it's truly special! 😊🌍
Kristin.. Beautiful name and it is a common Norwegian female name. 😊
Thank you so much, @steinarhaugen! I appreciate your kind words about my name. 😊🌸
Kristen, is it still easy to make friends in Norway for someone who is not as smart and beautiful as you ?
Do you have to be a millionaire to visit or live in Norway?
Beautiful. But miserable for 8 months of the year imho.
I appreciate your perspective, Steve A! 😊🌷
😳
😊
It’s safe because it hasn’t been culturally enriched unlike the rest of Europe.
Really great Video.Relaxing
Thank you so much, Jeff! I'm delighted to hear you found the video relaxing. Your kind words mean a lot! 😊✨
Good looking people and beautiful nature.Thats what you are showing. There is opposite reality on that one in I think most peoples life
Norway is not Europe, please distinguish
Norway is in Europe, but not in the European Union which is a different thing.
Oh, is Norway in Asia? 😊
@@steinarhaugen7617 When the CZcams channel Asianometry did a video on Norsk Data, there were jokes about Norway suddenly being part of Asia. Don't worry, though: they have since done videos on Italy and Brazil!
Those waves were big. Very nice!
Thank you, @surfing.4ever! The waves were indeed impressive, and I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Your feedback means a lot! 🌊😊
