This mode could've been so much better, I mean we are almost in the year 2024 and still no social media 😂 and everything else is just so limited.
Dude even Spider man game has social media interactions, Its not that hard to make it work with this game
@@tutopb3124 exactly bro. I mean they had so many features in the Journey mode, why could they not add it into PCM🤷🏽♂️ all they are on about is "next Gen features" instead of improving the game itself. Currently this game is fifa 23 with new cutscenes and menus 🤦🏽♂️ I see no real improvement.

I doubt they'll ever do a "neighbourhood" type mode, but I wish they would at least do something similar based around your club's training facilities, where you join in on the drills, walk around and see your team mates working out or gearing up, talk to them to try and increase your player chemistry, or just pick up a ball and go out to the field to practice free kicks.
Give them time until they find out a way to microtransactions in it 😂
It's baffling how EA made the perfect career mode with the Alex Hunter thing and instead of implementing that they just decided to take a hundred steps back to the basic crap we get every year.
I started off at Wrexham and by the end of the season I was rated 91. Everytime you play an International match your manager scolds you for missing training. Alot of the top clubs have insane contract demands, Real Madrid had 57 goals 11 finesse shots and 1 match win. If you play on professional or semi pro this is acheivable but becomes boring quickly and your team mates are rubbish, playing on world class is more fun but then the demands become impossible. Essentially you can win the ballon d'or break Haalands premier league goal record but because you scored 10 finesse shots instead of 11 Real Madrid wont sign you. If your dribble rate was below a certain percentage half the Premier League clubs wont sign you so you either sign for a league 1 or 2 team after becoming the worlds best player. All i wanted this year was to have contracts in be a pro mode and be able to negotiate wages based on my performance. hahahahaha why EA couldnt do the regular cut scene and have AI offer me a 3 or 5 year contract is just plain EA things.

They should make your objectives negotiable, where you meet with the club and discuss what you need to achieve to possibly be signed

Chelsea wants me to assist 42 times as a striker. What
They do it on purpose to make you play ultimate team they can easily make good games if they wanted to.
Unpopular opinion, but I acc preferred the old progression system. Felt more natural
i loved it. "score 20 long shots" to get +3 long shot attribute.

Well it kinda makes sense since you are a growing talent you would expect fast improvement just look at messi or ronaldo career they became the best in only a few seasons
I always thought they should have both so you can grow in different ways and have like achievements which grant stats but also have the skill tree

Now having played 48 hours of player career mode on fc24. I am going back to fifa 23 on pc with mods. It's an awful experience after a season or two. The objectives asked of you to just renew the contract is close to impossible. 3 bicycle kicks are needed in a season I mean cr7 had 2 in his entire career I think. You need to do more in a season. The personality type will always be maverick whatever you do. None of those tiers actually help you. The investments, shopping and actions are all largely useless. Your agent is just a menu based system who recommends you toulouse and utrecht as a club when you are the top scorer in the prem with Chelsea and 88 rated. Internationals are just fully fucked can't even get into it. Barely any national teams I think 1 African team, no Brazil, no Uruguay. Just awful unacceptable. No social media, no interviews,no gloves on your player, no ankle tape. They took so much away to add tattoos. Don't even get me started on your ai team mates impossible to play with

I absolutely despise the fact that Im forced to move from the club I want to be with if I dont hit a massively impossible objective by the end of the season it is bloody infuriating
i haven't seen anyone mention that you cant request a loan, only a transfer, which kinda ruins starting at a big club, cause then going on loan if its too difficult

Yeah loans have been removed from the my player career mode I think unless it’s bugged but nah they’ve removed it I’ve not even been called up to my national team and I’m 87 rated lol

This is what I posted on the EA Sports FC 24 Beta Forum -> Career -> General Feedback (Answers HQ): As a competitive player against both real people and cpu/a.i., I want to play against the absolute best players and the best lineup when facing cpu/a.i, while Game Difficulty is on Legendary or Ultimate, as well as Competitive + Player Based Difficulty being ON. The following bullet points will assist with improving this under-appreciated Game Mode, and hopefully, the Devs will invest more time and resources into this even if the Suits are unable to find a way to make more money from it like they do with FUT:
*An overall more intelligent Transfer market and Board Decisions on who they Sell, Loan or Transfer. Also, if there are prospects or other players who will never get playing time during a Campaign, put them on loan to develop.
*More realistic transfers during the Transfer Market. Even when set on Strict, at times a club will Transfer a player to a direct or indirect rival in their League then not even replace the player/backfill the position they transferred.
*Please fix the issue where some clubs will transfer or do not resign a certain position on their club like a LB, for example. They will never bring in a LB for multiple transfer windows, but will sign a ridiculous amount of RBs (who strictly play RB) to compensate for not backfilling the LB position in their club.
*In fifa 23, some clubs would move certain players out of their position(s) when going down a goal or even when going up a goal -- it is so weird and random. Please just ensure all cpu/a.i. controlled clubs keep their realistic formations~game plans throughout an entire match regardless.
*Consistently receiving Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Awards regardless of the SAVE file and/or if you re-do a simulation. Right now if you back out of the original SAVE or do multiple simulations, the Awards News will disappear. It's like you have one save or simulation to see it.
*More user-friendly, streamlined Edit Player menu. Any time you finish making an edit to a player, then Save or Cancel the edit, the game will make you go all the way back to the Default Club vs letting you continue your edit on the team you were last on which creates a huge inconvenience and waste of time because those 20-45 seconds being sent back to the Default Club/Edit Player start menu to look for a club and their associated player(s) adds up.
*More intelligent ~ User’s Defensive cpu/a.i. need hella improvement when playing~controlling only your Pro during the match. Too easy to get counter attacked and not recover, too many huge gaps in the middle of the park or in the penalty box, no real challenges or pressure when in 1v1 situations or even when being helped by a fellow cpu/a.i. player.
*More intelligent ~ User's Offensive cpu/a.i, for example, cpu/a.i. making unnecessary dribbles, slows down or does some weird motion/mechanic, or passes when they have an opportunity to take the defender(s) on to create a chance for themselves or their teammates.
*While only playing~controlling your Pro, you should still be allowed to set Attack~Balance~Defensive~Ultra Defensive, tell the team to press in when necessary..etc. because to the previous points, the User’s cpu/a.i. are terrible.
*Making sure players throughout a club don't receive an immediate role change, loss of playing time or being removed out of the lineup/rotation all together because of a bad game/poor player rating in a previous match.
*Please add National Anthems during introductions for international matches (Friendlies and Competitive).
*Issue during International and European Competitions (Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League) where it does not show the full introduction of the starting 11s for both teams.

Its incredible how all youtubers say that Player Career Mode needs things that doesnt add anything. Like neighborhood or more cutscenes. That doesnt generate any profound gameplay.
They should add more competitive information, who are the best players in the league that gets updated monthly, same for continent and world. This will create something more competitive for the player, same for clubs like having rankings as we can see in FM

In fact, a lot of people hate it, because it makes it take much longer to play 3v3s
I don’t rate the player career mode I find it overrated because there’s no contract 5 year lengths or more. If you miss out on an objective by one goal or pass you get booted out the club you play for and have to find another club 😂 some of the contract objectives are hard to achieve I’m a Cam that’s my position and they expect me to slide tackle 40 times successfully lol 😂
I haven’t got a call up to my international team. I’m 87 rated 😂

Ong, I thought EA would include the same cool aspects of the journey in FIFA 17 - 19, like social media, relevant cutscenes, a potential storyline, an alterable personality etc. That was 6 years ago, WTF?

They should combine Volta and career
The PRO CAMERA is still BUGGED and goes over the keeper meaning that you can't see outside the box. That has destroyed Goalkeeper career modes since 2021. No matter what you add if you can't get the basics right ea then what's the point????
I have a target of “get 5 top corner goals” I scored 2 in one match and it still said 0 completed, THEN I also scored a pen top corner so it was 10000% top corner and still nothing… so that helps 🤷🏻♂️😂
Same with pass and goes, you do them and they don’t add up

I haven't played an FC game at all, but when you talked about having to play the whole team in order to have a greater chance at achieving those bicycle kicks, surely there's a button to call for a pass when you're just playing a single player? All the basketball and NFL games I've played had that feature, seems weird a Football game wouldn't?
I, personally, am very happy with player career mode this year. My only complaint, if you wanna call it that, are the somewhat ridiculous nature of some of the objectives to sign with another team or even renew your contract with your current team. I also keep getting regular emails that the manager is disappointed with my form, even though I'm the best player on the team and train every time😂
They removed the cutscene when you walk out onto the pitch as well
i started with pdx timbers cause that’s where i’m from but i literally played 2 seasons wit this squad and i hit my trade objective (trade targets) for the entire two seasons and i’ve yet to get an offer. EA blew this mode big time.
I’m 90 rated in my career and for some reason I have to change club, even tho I did all the challenges, and my only option is a team in the 3. Division in Germany

I like the player agent thing
This could be an unpopular opinion, but i prefer the old transfer system way more compared to the new one.
For one, clubs set you unrealistic objectives which top players in real life probably couldnt achieve throughout their entire career. For example, score 3 bicycle kick goals in 1 season. If you dont manage to accomplish this, you get sent on loan, making it near impossible to stay at a club that you wanted to move to for more than 3 seasons. Even worse, sometimes if you DO meet the unrealistic objectives, the game has a weird glitch where it forces you to move clubs anyways. That happened to me when I was at PSG, and many times on other saves.
Additionally, you cant leave in the January transfer window anymore which makes almost no sense to me. Why couldnt they give us the option to leave in January if we wanted to? You have to stay at your club for the whole season whether you wanted to or not. I planned to stay at Real Madrid for 4 seasons before moving in one of my saves, but instead I was forced to move to Aston Villa despite getting above my contract objectives.
And finally, even though this is a personal opinion, it just removes the suspense of "i wonder if a big club is going to make a bid for me". Now, i feel that you uave to sim and focus on playing a very certain way just to make sure you can stay at a club or move at the end of the season, wheras before you could play however you wanted with excitement, knowing this could be the game that gets you a contract to a big club.
Ofc if you like the new way contracts works thats toally fine, but i just prefer this way 10x more
They need to update how many players you could actually allow to get subbed in, such as 5.
FIFA 23 Career Mode You Are Able To Do That Just Not Auto Sub
I completed all my objectives to renew contract but it never gave me the option to renew and forced me to move. Also in one save I was like and 85 rated midfielder with 8 goals and 12 assists and because I didn’t score 5 volleys I had to move to the Indian super league ffs

same problem for me here, ive tried to state this problem on reddit and also on EA's support page thing but got no attention. Also because of switching clubs every season, you dont get nominated for the ballon d'or for some reason
When you transfer they only give u a 1 yr contract and after that 1 yr you are forced to switch team. U Can only stay at the club u started of with for more than 1 yr.

I think EA FC should improve their features especially for the next Gen, They should include Social media showing the number of emails, Followers, texts and comments of your fans, just like the journey game mode that was in FIFA 19 plus training with Treadmills, doing running laps on the training ground without the ball, lifting some weights to upgrade your player's strength or Physique, getting sponsorships and becoming a brand like CR7, Messi, Neymar etc, World Cup, Copa America and AFCON features including all national teams being licensed, New Hairstyles, lot of Tattoos option features, your own designed branded football Cleats (boots), if a player is injured badly let him/her be stretchered off the pitch, managers aguing with the players if they are having a poor performance, Locker room discussions during half-time
Last year when I played I found every time I went to a team they sold their best player can’t anyone let me know if this is still the case.

They will be it’s typical ea on release they won’t be much added in but on updates you’ll get more and more added in.
I paid £0.79 for the EA early access. I’m not overly impressed with the game. I’ve bought every fifa game since fifa ‘94 and now I’m thinking I’m finally burnt out. I’ve played every mode and it seems pretty much rinse and repeat, even though there are a few subtle changes. This could be the first time I might not buy the game
Good on you. Don’t waste your money on this game I already regret buying it. Such a waste, few changes but it’s just rinse and repeat like every year.

About those attributes points..is it same sht where a tall player cannot be fast ? and you can only get to a certain rating ?
I was 79 rated. I changed my player height from 180cm to 181cm for the header goal quest. After i changed the height my rating was 69. My pace was maxed like 94 rated but after i went back to the menu where all my stats are shown up it says that i have 73 pace. But ingame it feels like 94 pace and my player rating is now at 75 and im lvl 35 already… that makes no sense
@@tariks3.account25 the stats and rating are completely broken. without and skill upgrades (3* skills) my player as 4* skills. if i unlock both skill move upgrades (5* skills) i still only have 4* skills. after discovering this i don't believe that any of the other upgrades actually do anything.
Player career mode should be played on PRO Camera. If you know what i mean

i was a keeper and needed 45 slidings... otherwise my contract wouldnt renew. no club was willing to sign me so ur stuck in "contract expired"
I was a 99 rated goalkeeper playing for Al Hilal getting 100 grand a week and at the end of the season I was sent off to Punjabi FC getting $1200 a week because I hadn't made enough diving saves ffs!

The player contract and transfer goals page is the stupidest idea ever implemented. There isn't a manager alive or dead who has ever said, "I like that striker, but he only scored 6 bicycle kicks this season, not 7, so forgot about it."
How contracts and transfers ought to work is a combination of basic stats like goals, assists, clean sheets, and more complicated background stats like movement and pass direction. A striker who scored 20 goals in a season wouldn't be arbitrarily denied a contract extension because 5 of them weren't headers. Similarly, teams or managers with a certain vision would be more or less likely to react based on how you play - ie, a striker with lots of successful first-touch passes in the final third would be a higher priority for Barcelona/Guardiola, whereas a playmaker with a lot of long forward passes would be likely to get an offer from Stoke/Allardyce.
What's really frustrating is that FC24 ALREADY TRACKS THIS DATA, yet does absolutely nothing whatsoever with it.
If you kids want to play for Manchester United when you're older just remember to score 3 bicycle kicks this season 🤣🤦🏻♂️
not bad, not that great either. Mediocre. feels like like last gen FIFA ported to next gen engine with upgraded graphics, otherwise not much difference
It's absolutely broken, because you can't make your player that young (if you create a new one) and I have this game breaking glitch where all created players and generated players get replaced with new generated players, and these can have negative attributes, meaning that it crashes the game immediately.

Wow... that player agent thing sucks. I bought it because it was on sale, I only play player career mode with sliders, and I feel like career mode in FIFA 23 was better.

I said for EA to make game that can satisfy consumers they have to stop producing game each an every year. At least produce a major game every two/three years and within these years just release season updates with jerseys and ratings for consumers to buy at lower rate then after 3 years release major games

Nobody wants a 2k style neighborhood. We just want proper gameplay. Cutscenes and going into stores to buy clothes serves absolutely no purpose and will just lead to more micro transactions

🤬This is what I posted on the EA Sports FC 24 Beta Forum -> Career -> General Feedback (Answers HQ): As a competitive player against both real people and cpu/a.i., I want to play against the absolute best players and the best lineup when facing cpu/a.i, while Game Difficulty is on Legendary or Ultimate, as well as Competitive + Player Based Difficulty being ON. The following bullet points will assist with improving this under-appreciated Game Mode, and hopefully, the Devs will invest more time and resources into this even if the Suits are unable to find a way to make more money from it like they do with FUT:
*An overall more intelligent Transfer market and Board Decisions on who they Sell, Loan or Transfer. Also, if there are prospects or other players who will never get playing time during a Campaign, put them on loan to develop.
*More realistic transfers during the Transfer Market. Even when set on Strict, at times a club will Transfer a player to a direct or indirect rival in their League then not even replace the player/backfill the position they transferred.
*Please fix the issue where some clubs will transfer or do not resign a certain position on their club like a LB, for example. They will never bring in a LB for multiple transfer windows, but will sign a ridiculous amount of RBs (who strictly play RB) to compensate for not backfilling the LB position in their club.
*In fifa 23, some clubs would move certain players out of their position(s) when going down a goal or even when going up a goal -- it is so weird and random. Please just ensure all cpu/a.i. controlled clubs keep their realistic formations~game plans throughout an entire match regardless.
*Consistently receiving Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Awards regardless of the SAVE file and/or if you re-do a simulation. Right now if you back out of the original SAVE or do multiple simulations, the Awards News will disappear. It's like you have one save or simulation to see it.
*More user-friendly, streamlined Edit Player menu. Any time you finish making an edit to a player, then Save or Cancel the edit, the game will make you go all the way back to the Default Club vs letting you continue your edit on the team you were last on which creates a huge inconvenience and waste of time because those 20-45 seconds being sent back to the Default Club/Edit Player start menu to look for a club and their associated player(s) adds up.
*More intelligent ~ User’s Defensive cpu/a.i. need hella improvement when playing~controlling only your Pro during the match. Too easy to get counter attacked and not recover, too many huge gaps in the middle of the park or in the penalty box, no real challenges or pressure when in 1v1 situations or even when being helped by a fellow cpu/a.i. player.
*More intelligent ~ User's Offensive cpu/a.i, for example, cpu/a.i. making unnecessary dribbles, slows down or does some weird motion/mechanic, or passes when they have an opportunity to take the defender(s) on to create a chance for themselves or their teammates.
*While only playing~controlling your Pro, you should still be allowed to set Attack~Balance~Defensive~Ultra Defensive, tell the team to press in when necessary..etc. because to the previous points, the User’s cpu/a.i. are terrible.
*Making sure players throughout a club don't receive an immediate role change, loss of playing time or being removed out of the lineup/rotation all together because of a bad game/poor player rating in a previous match.
*Please add National Anthems during introductions for international matches (Friendlies and Competitive).
*Issue during International and European Competitions (Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League) where it does not show the full introduction of the starting 11s for both teams.
