The keepers not rushing when pressing y/triangle makes the game borderline unplayable. If a player gets in behind the defensive line it's a nailed on goal

@marcbrisbane6800 been a problem since release, was sure they'd fix it by now. GKs as a rule have been awful this year, doesn't matter how high rated they are its constant parrying things right to attackers or just letting shots go right by them. Does my nut in

The fact that you even bought this game already show you are a ret**d this game was unplayable 4 years ago.
First 'FIFA' I haven't bought in years and by the looks of things, I made the right call. I usually just play offline/single player career mode and if only EA could have fleshed it out more in recent years, then they'd have a fantastic game. Hell I'd even accept some monetisation in career mode as long as it guaranteed its future expansion and development. Maybe stadium upgrades/aesthetics, facilities and scenery, or banners...in a cash shop. Unfortunately though, EA's sheer incompetence, avarice and laziness has been astounding over the past half decade or so. Need another competitor to step up that can scratch the football career mode itch (without going super in-depth like Football Manager), because neither FC 24 nor eFootball is hitting the mark right now.
Game play is actually the best in a long time. But I only play single-player mode and career mode.

I have been playing since the euro 2000 game. This was the first edition I didn’t buy. I hope one day the franchise will better itself.
They're doing it on purpose, they've been killing career mode for the past couple years because they want us all to be good little children and buy pack after pack on Ultimate team. Thr youth academy name pools have been broken since the launch of FIFA 23, and playstyles, something new, that was working on the academy for the first couple title updates, are now completely broken, with youth players and regens almost never getting playstyle+'s.
We NEED 2K to make a football game! Especially now that FIFA is left open, we need it! We need 2kFifa 25!

My player got 6 goals and 4 assists in 6 games , with an average rating of 8.8 and I got a message from my manager saying he was disappointed with my recent performances and was thinking of loaning me out.

The interactions have been broken since 13 like how the f#¢k can’t they get it right. Like sorry gaffer I don’t feel utilized, meanwhile he’s out for the season with a broken neck, but because you can’t resolve the issue the board fires you, wtf?
Idk about FC 24, but in Fifa 23 I hate when in player career mode your teammates pass to you even when you're not available (like if you're far away or behind the other team's players)

issues i faced:
for a short while if you tried to cross the ball from the right from a set piece with a right footed player with the outside of the foot, it would give you insane power and the player would turn around before crossing
players can randomly get removed from certain teams, for me kepa still plays for chelsea in kick off and jwp doesnt play for west ham.
goalkeepers can get insanely good if you play timed lob through pass
if you connect a ps controller on pc it can randomly decide to not work
you can sub in an outfield player instead of a gk
sometimes your teammates can purposefully not score, i had a teammate miss from the 6 yard box, infront of an open goal IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE
teammates sometimes decide to do a normal through pass instead of a lobbed one, even if you press l1/lb.
the finesse shot is overpowered if you have the finesse shot+ trait, but if you don't, it becomes literal hell on earth
i don't know if it's still in, but if you select the maverick option when you have lost a derby in activities, your agent says something like "placeholder_maverick_derbyloss_agentresponse" or something like that in myplayer career mode

No matter if you ever liked PES, (Which i personally did) the death of that game or at least Master League was essentially the death of Career Mode. No competition left, FM is obviously great but still a different kind of game...

In ps4 the line ups are here but when alex scott is saying the other match goals and when you score a goal or the ball goes out of play while alex scott is talking the score line from the other game stays at the top right corner

My main complain this year, is that most upgrades are not as functional as they should, because they are either incomplete, or counter productive considering how good the AI is out of possession. I also feel like they really want you to choose the tactical visions that were added this year, because using a "custom" vision is a complete and utter nightmare; players just won't respond to your instructions and their sharpness will never be good enough, regardless of what the player card tells you. Last but not least, I really don't get why they decided to mess up trainings so badly; why would I want to train just once before the game, and with only a few handful players ? Absolute nonsense
I play on ps5 😢 and I've had a glitch where I can't pause when ingame. Then when trying to load to the 2nd half it just freezes on the commentators. I have to shut the game down and it corrupts my save 😭
I got the game at 70% off and i still think THATS too much for what this game gives

I get multiple bugs, starting a new season, the menu glitches. I sign new contracts it doesn't register, I won the fa Cup and the objective board said I didn't even get to the round of 16 and got sacked

Just fans in general- especially create a club where the kits are also bugged or there is no badge, plus every fan where’s the same kit that the team where’s on that specific game, like it could be easy in create a club to let the fans where kits from previous seasons and to make them more realistic

I’m I the only one or does the game crash everytime I try to set my lineups for the International team after being sent a contract renewal. Game crashes at the most random times so now i have to be saving the game after every single match to make sure i don’t lose any progress (this only happens when I play FC24) no other game I play ever crashes so I know it’s not my console it’s clearly FC24 that’s just a broken game, and the same used to happen in FIFA 23 but it’s only seem to gotten worst

There was a glitch for some reason when I benched the best performance player like 10.0 and at the end of the game it showed him (Saka) on the bench but everything else white? Ea fc I don’t know if it is just me
1 thing i hate about FC 24 while transfering it doesn't show the team's tactic, for a player who only enjoys the game and not the real thing and is out of touch so i have to do trial and error to find out the team i am joining has a left wing or not!!!!

It just sad men, yo know is bad when a 4 month injured player demand you to play and of course you can’t cause the game won’t let you put the player, and funny enough the player demands a transfer for lack of playing.

Played a new manager career yesterday,after 4 seasons and 3 instant promotions,i got sacked for some reason.
At the end of the season,I already saw that the trust is on 53 even though I literally did EVERY single objective.
At the start of a season the game glitches out and you loose like 20 trust immediately for no reason ,so you are getting sacked no matter what .
I tried to save the career for like an hour ,it was impossible.
Did LITERALLY EVERY objective and still got sacked even though I was also almost done with next seasons objectives ,but doesn’t matter because of the glitch.

I have several questions:
1. In Manager Career mode, when we simulate the match, are we still stuck with 2D table-top view (FM style) or now we can actually watch the match live like PES's Master League mode?
2. In Player Career mode, do we still can't specify which team we want to try moving to (like PES's Become A Legend mode) and can only rely on random offers? Will we stuck with a single team that won't let us go no matter what if we're one of those important players?
3. Are we still limited to 10 & 15 years on both modes respectively?

So many gameplay bugs. Playing against the computer is infuriating. Defenders take years to turn around and attackers take those massive touches in on goal to always score or shield the ball better than captain america and score. Absolutely crap atm

They should pay more attention to CM because there are few players out there just hop on to FIFA and chill I mean why can't they have a option of club sign you on 3yr contract remove look for a job option in the menu it pop up if you are looking for job or if you are in final few months or in your contract pre sign with another club or you put in your contract if a top 6 club comes calling you allowed to talk to them even if club doesn't want you talk to the other club or sometimes they grant the other clubs to talk with you or allow you to sign players as your assistant manager as well as a player and other clubs can approach about your players about coming player/manager or assistant manager of their club or try sign out of job managers to become your assistant manager ect one day Konami is going to revive the masters league or other publisher is going to do their own football game and focus on CM because they see there is still a demand in that market and they going to try take away players from FIFA and EA and E is going desperate attempts to improve their CM

All ea wants is for everyone to play ultimate team and that's why they are killing all the other modes I play pro clubs aswell and the handicap is so overpowering the other team always gets like 5 to 7 corners on the same play until they manage to score a goal

One thing that truly annoys me about FC23 is that player career mode just feels a bit...stiff in general but when it comes to bugs and such the most annoying regular one is that you get shit from your club for playing for your country.
My opponents in career mode hit the ball very slowly. They almost don't hit. My goalkeeper catches the balls very easily. There are almost no hard hits from the opponent.

I don’t like how In career mode u have to train to get onto starting 11, coz imagine ur a 17 year old 66 rated player for city and ur automatically on the bench. After a few sessions ur on the starting 11 against the biggest teams In the world. They should just decided whether ur reserve, sub or starter based on ur form not by simming training sessions. Think about it if ur a young player ur gonna start (for city) in a FA cup round 3 against Grimsby but in order to do that u have to train and then after u play that game ur on the starting 11 against the likes of liverpool. It’s BORING
For example, I would like (as a young low rated player) to start off my first season playing the smaller games only and work my way up but they have been lazy and jus made it shit
They had a feature back in the day, don't remember which fifa it was but in the player career mode you started off in the youth team and had to make your way up through the ranks, even being able to be made captain of the youth team and also playing for your country you start off playing for the under 18s, 21s. Loved that career mode back then.

The downgrade they have made to career mode IS laughable. They kept the same career mode for years just developing FUT but at least career mode worked. They started to fuck It on 23 and finished destroying on 24. Totally intentional, at this point they just want people to Play FUT. No people , people that pays to win.
It would be more fun if the Euro 2024 DLC had the qualifier mode but they don't care they just remove national teams every year its so annoying

For me i get sacked to quick. I made a Schalke rebuild wanting to take them back to glory. I signed som great players in my first season, and ended second place in the bundesliga with a good amount of money left, and they sacked me. Unless you win every single tournament you are in, you will end up getting sacked.

The League tables are broken again…went to look at how many United was doing after i got sacked as ten hag. Man City came second in the table with 39 games played & Tottenham came fifth with 37 games played. The waiters in the restaurant cut scene when you go to sign a player are also now rocking the full kit wanker style..this game man😒
