- Best viewed in 720p. I retried any level if I thought I messed up badly enough, or if I died, so I didn't play through the whole game all at once like it appears in the video. However, the entirety of the individual levels (individual stars, not all 6 of them) were played all at once with no edits. I saved the 100 coin stars until the end of the game. The audio is usually ok, but it's not 100% perfect.

Looking back on this game as a child... This is probably the most memorable game I've ever played and makes me miss my childhood. I was 8 when I first got my N64 and my first game was SM64... I'm 27 now. I shed a slight tear. Thanks for this.

When I wanted to take a nap while i was 11, I played a level of Dire Dire Docks, Turned the sound down low and away from enemies and took a nap with the music.

Tbh, this is still the most challenging game I've ever played. Watching you get probably half of those stars makes me realize that this game was almost designed to be played this way. But incredible gameplay. Brought back all the nostalgia and feels. 💕

I agree, I remember playing this secretly at night while my parents slept because they didn't let me use the computer.
My goal was always getting 3 stars so I could go back to bed.
One night my parents woke up while I was playing and caught me, they put password on the computer so I couldn't play anymore, the saddest thing was I didn't complete the game, I just got about 90 stars.
But yes this game is a masterpiece, it was part of my childhood, I would like to go back to those years when I had no problems in my life and just relax and play this.

Got this game when I was about 5 or 6 back when it was first released and it actually took me most of my childhood up untill my teens to get all 120 stars. Played it here and there along with other games.
Back then we didn't have the internet to go on CZcams so I had to find all the stars and secret courses just by exploring or coming across them in the game
Amazing how this guy can get them all in such a short amount of time
Now being almost 30 years old I've recently got the 64 out to start from scratch and get all 120 stars again

I've loved this game since I was a kid. I was only able to play it at my cousin's house, but I had never actually completed the game. It was great to see all the stars and levels I missed. This game is one of my all time favorites

When i was like 12yo or so I had 100+ star save that i had worked on for well over a year if not years, then i let my younger stepbrother borrow it for one day and got to come back to an erased save :D never got to finish this beauty.

You are so good at this. Usually it takes me longer than that to get all 120 power stars and beat Bowser 3 times to complete the whole thing, but you are a natural. I would assume that you practiced lots in order to be a pro at this game and film the whole thing. Awesome. Plus, when I was a kid, I struggled lots in certain courses of Super Mario 64 game before. Tonight, finally I finished the whole thing for the very first time with a few assistance on CZcams.
There is nothing too impressive about this, because it wasn't recorded in one sitting. If I messed up too badly, I would just start the stage over from the beginning.

+Dennis Hopper I never actually did this all in one session, as the description says, so I don't think it really counts. That said, I think there are some videos on youtube of people collecting all 120 stars in a much shorter time than this and all in one session.
