- We had barely gotten a moment to catch our breaths from the long but enjoyable drive to Erin when we were delightfully whisked away to one of the most magical places in my home village. A PLANTAIN FIELD! It seemed as if we had entered an entirely different world mere meters away from where the last populated house stood. Along a grassy, undulating little road, we were transported to pure plantain bliss.
Yes, I wanted to stay all day and all night there. Yes I wanted to make a fireside cook in there (not harming the tress though), and YES I wanted to build a nice wooden house in the center of this secluded plantain paradise. I highly commend Anim, Navida, Bean, Ken, Aunty Georgie, Georgia and everyone else who are involved in maintaining such an astounding and promising plantation. We continue to pray for continued success and expansion. Enjoy.
