I love this tank build. Excited to see how this tank grows out. Looking forward to the next update.

I run one of those flow meters on my my fill station. You can find them at home depot as well

7:55 I disagree. We're not compressing the water, so the water that passes at this point in the pipe will have to come out on the other side and you will have the same flow.

The flow meter will be great for siphoning water during WC.

What are your thoughts for the Ph controller? I have their dosing pumps without the director.

    Excellent content thank you
Why did you get the Molly's as I noticed you have other algae eaters? They might look pretty cool under the blue leds.

Hey to calculate the flow you have to add that to the point or the end of the line. The flow will always be strong at the front of the line
What you are calculating is the residual flow...

That is the end of the line. From here it travels to a 2ft silicone tube that goes straight down and no bend. I couldn’t attach it to that as it sits underwater. Don’t think I understand what you are referring to.

      not true
the pressure may vary, not the flow. we're not compressing the water

@@wilsonline90 yea you might be right, but they both go hand in hand...

Reef looks great but that huge waterbox logo would get on my nerves. I did not realise that they are supplied like this? It has put me off ever buying one. Did you consider one of the Cade reef setups? They look superb and must be the best available reef systems at this moment in time. I am looking forward to them arriving in Europe.

When you do water changes on the qt tank do you match the copper just like salinity?

So you're telling me that I didn't have to sit for a whole hour to see what my GPH is?

15$ Okay, I would never put this crap in my tank. The recession on amazon are really bad. This device make you just crazy in long term if it not reliable. A crap device in a high corrosive tank? I never would put any coral or invertebrate in the tank. If the need of measurement importaint, you have to pay for, and get a qhl sensor. If you think the ghl sensor to expensive, then you just don't need it. With this device you just add a risk to block the pipe an reduce the redundancy. I supppose they will be only good for content making.
Anyway, for some reason you nowadays have a quarantine tank...
