- As commissioned by "Emmanuel Exe" Here is my Remix of the Boss theme AKA "Battlefield" from the Sega Megadrive game "Golden Axe"
My 5 yr old daughter "Sophie" is playing as Tyris Flare (the female)
and I'm playing as Gilius Thunderhead. Some of these videos I used cheats ;p

When I was 7 years old, I remember before my dad passed in 1997, we used to play this game together on the Sega Genesis. My absolute favorite theme on this game and you took it and made it sensational. I wish my father were here to hear this. You sir are truly amazing at what you do. Thanks for this!

As soon as I read your comment I felt struck by the relationship between you and your father through the videogame. In my case the correlation isn't so direct and much more articulated but there is and so I really appreciated your comment.

@@LilsandazENT I don't know if you have the '90s myth but the memory recalled through this video is bound to situations, typical smells inside videogame rooms of that time (now there aren't anymore), sun light in late afternoons associated with particular musics and also people I don't see anymore. I don't know whether my father is still alive since it's over 7 months I'm not hearing from him. I can't say I lived with him full time and the past hasn't been nice at all in my case, but still..... time has a magical power of letting you see things better than how they were..... many times even a short sound makes me dream with open eyes stuck inside the "time telescope".
As a friend of mine put it, this captures the legacy and evocative feel of sword-and-sorcery fantasy well. Glorious work 🤩

This is easily the best made remix of this classic i've seen so far. Doesn't lose out on what the original gives, but really brings it to a bigger place sound-wise. Love it!

I love this game and Streets of rage mostly due to family ties. He’s not a gamer but as someone who loves games this is the only attachment I have of him that we both seem mutual about at best.

My god did i love this game. Luckily i had the game genie so unlimited magic.
What is more amazing, the music or a 5 year old that can play Golden Axe. My daughter is 6. She can play it a bit but always tries to play the music on her piano. She can only play the boss and wilderness on the piano so far.

Thanks Hyde! yeah they took a while to complete but finally got there in the end. Yeah I think my daughter will have more of an appreciation for retro games now as well as me doing remixes for them. We also decided to give her $20 we said "yeah, someone on the internet wanted to pay you for it" lol

My Childhood!!!
I'm usually very strict with remixes and don't like when an author adds too much of his own expression. This particular case is probably the very first time that I not only like it, but actually prefer it to the rest of the song, holy crap! 2:30 - 3:25 is really something else that perfectly fits between the individual 'verses'. Reminds me of the various 'after battle' background music tracks from various anime's I've watched.
