Great review, never heard of Birch before. I’ve owned a number of Bromptons over the years but I’m really drawn to alternatives now, especially folders with 20 inch wheels. The Birch is a really good looking bike and seems great value.

Never heard of the Birch - is this a new brand? Not that I know every brand out there, but it did not come up in my search for folding bikes ten years ago. And Mr. Lawrence, if you want an American-made bike, Bike Fridays are made in Oregon - if you didn't know that already. I'll say, tho, I liked that Birch. And you can add a kickstand. Great detailed comparison!

Thanks! Yes, it's new. We were just sent one a couple of weeks ago. So far we like it. It's a peppy little bike. Hopefully, it'll be durable

I was searching folding bikes on amazon and came across this bike for $254.99 with free shipping. This is the only review I've found on CZcams. There's no reviews on Amazon yet.

I'm surprised it has no reviews. It is a fairly new bike though. So far we like it. It is a much cheaper alternative to the Brompton. We'll see how long it lasts...

The BEST budget folder. And I mean the BEST. Is the Zizzo Liberte. Thats the one you should have been comparing to the Brompton. Less than £500. Weighs 23lbs. And is very well made. Looks really good..

Any issues with ordering and delivery on the Birch? Are there proprietary parts that might be hard to get down the line? Those are my biggest concerns.

I do know that we did not have any issues with delivery. It was super fast. The second question would have to be answered by Birch company.

Birch uses standard off the mill parts; not as solidly build as my Bike Friday but for 1/6 the cost I'll take it.
