    Coming from a Panamara owner your review was amazing. Yes! You’re absolutely right they are expensive to maintain. Even basic maintenance like brakes, spark plugs, tires etc with an independent mechanic aren’t cheap at all. The cheapest thing I pay for is an oil change that’s around $120. I recently replaced all 4 tires on my car that ran 450 per tire. I just got the brakes done last week was $2500. Got the starter replaced a year ago that was 1500. Up until the starter went out I didn’t have any major issues other than basic maintenance. I have a 2016 got it in 2019. I’ve had it for 5 years now & she’s been pretty reliable. I duel residency between Vegas & Phoenix sometimes I’ll drive the car between states & absolutely love it. I’ve been taking my car to the same mechanic for 5 years. Who specialize in Porsche & Audi. No that wasn’t easy to find because a lot of mechanics are afraid to touch my car outside of replacing tires. Other than that I absolutely love my car. I’ve had a BMW 5 series, Jaguar xf, & Maserati in the past & my Porsche by far is my favorite. Whenever I have to part ways I’m definitely getting another one. Hopefully that won’t be the case because I plan on passing it down to my Daughter.

    South Florida Porsche dealers charge over $400-$500 an hour 😂 definitely not $100-$200 an hour

    How is the reliability of the biturbo V6? Any turbos issues? Bore scoring? Any common issues to be mindful of? I'm in the market for one, switching from a pre-facelift 4S

    I called Porsche this week, their shop rate is $199/hr for service. My local mechanic charges $150 and works on everything. It's worth the premium.

    • @MeynMotorGroup
      @MeynMotorGroup  Před 4 měsíci +1

      If it’s a marginal difference like that then of course go with Porsche but some dealers are apparently charging 400 an hour

    The 2014 model didn't take a break on the Turbo S...? I have a 2014 Turbo S Executive

  • @ReneNYG1
    @ReneNYG1 Před 2 měsíci

    I had a 2014 turbo S it was awesome and I only had it for a year because I was scared of repairs but I love my time with it,the seat position memory didn't work but otherwise fine.It did have a turbo sensor problem i had fixed it showed it going to high maybe a rev sensor,but it was covered under the 30 day warranty.I bought it with only 34K on the clock and put 9,000 miles before I flipped it.The brakes were ceramic and it was loaded.I never used the additional button for extra 28 HP since the 550 and horses was enough for me.

    Ha ha, thank you. I came across a few of these for sub 20k in my area. One claiming to have 600 horsepower. I was surprised at how cheap they were since it's Porsche. Small part of me was like maybe just maybe let's do a little research. Watched your video and it snapped me back to reality.

      Yea my friend epic cars but outside of a warranty, it can be a nightmare. I did research more regarding warranties and found route 66, fidelity, freedom, and portfolio apparently offer some of the best warranties for used cars according to the leasehackr forum
