As a commercial driver I can assure you, it will be garbage like the DPF and DEF models. Too much electronics and too many control modules do not make for reliable trucks. Reliability left the transportation industry back in the early 2000’s when they installed EGR valves in heavy duty diesel engines. Ever since then it’s been downhill for truck owners. These new generation of trucks are absolute junk……further more, these truck manufacturers are making money hand over fist with the cost of replacement parts.
People don't understand aerodynamics dont effect semis very much due to low speeds also depending what they are hauling will significantly effect efficiency the most not everything fits in a box trailer either.

This is a hybrid. NOT an electric truck. It has a Paccar diesel engine between the rails and it uses electric power also together.

It's futuristic because it lacks exhaust pipes on the back of the cab. Exhaust under the truck.
Diesel exhaust is heavier than air if I recall so makes sense.
