It's diesel over electric, basically the diesel runs a constant speed generator. Never understood why this hasn't been in use in trucks for years

It has no parasitic drag off of the diesel engine. Everything else is being run by the electric batteries which is charged by braking which intern makes the diesel engine more efficient.

Try to go up the Mountains up North with a full hevy Load. Almost guarantee it will be at a juice right in the middle 😂😂😂😂😂 10 miles of steep mountain some Diesels can't even make it with out blowing up from overhearing even at a low gear the only truck I can see that could make. It is a hybrid diesel electric like the guy in Canada made and it still has a j-brake

I'm no engineer by any means. By, according to this design, potholes and speedbumps don't seem to have been factored in.
Also, I hate the exaggerated hype over everything that are nothing burgers. When gen pop is not extorted for.basic needs, then everyone has something to celebrate.

It's all good until you try and cross a bad set of railway tracks or hit a monster pot hole. Forget about going down a muddy road. But what do I know about the future of trucking. I spent the last 45 years busting my ass in a truck. I say go for it and don't forget to make it self driving because I'm retired.
