They cant give it to base jiren cause it lessen full power jiren’s value since its the first time he is introduced. He needs to be exclusive to increase the hype I guess. It may seem unfair since gogeta’s skill are acquirable by blue but yeah.

Unless it's XYs (Or Square-Triangles), modding, or all around cheap playing. But other than that, yeah.
It may just be me, but personally, I only find it despicable if that's all someone can do, or if it's what they need to win in general. Using one or two XY's in a fight won't trigger me but if that's all you do then it's kind of weird.

@@moncroly2563 Yes, that's what I mean. It is literally the only thing you will see a Male saiyan do, especially on ranked.
I prefer full power only because he doesn't have the full pride trooper uniform on anymore. Also, his combo has a clothesline. Growing up as a wrestling fan this made me extremely happy.

I prefer Custom Jiren as with Combo Type C and Toppo’s Z Soul, that is sheer damage that the Full Power version can’t even compete with along with Soaring Fist; not to mention his XYX cancel is just as good as the Male Earthling’s standard XY infinite and if you do his full XYX combo into Full Power Energy Wave it’s basically unvanishable.

I’ve been using the new Frieza soul “Any taller and it would be unnatural” on a ssg hybrid male saiyan with decent results. After a little time it boosts everything L for free and the ssg also has no downsides

Honestly doing an in depth review of all custom partner characters against their normal set (or strongest for those who have like 17 presets *cough cough* Vegeta and Kakarot *cough*) would be very entertaining to watch. It's a lot of work involved, both time and TP wise I know, but I genuinely would appreciate seeing that from you Steebro.
Funny I kinda use custom Jiren more because I can use power rush without the meditation ... I made Half-full power Jiren build ironically a Jiren that is full power but not in a mood to go all out an tearing his last pair of his Pridetrooper suit~😅

I like how they've been using Dlc characters as proofs of concepts lately, with dbs gogetas special Super saiyan bursting, ultimates becoming supers, special charged ki blasts and new variations of existing moves like kale and cauliflas strike ultimates.
I hope they make all of these things a part of Xeno3 for every character since the coding is done for it.
Custom Jiren is so damn good. Easily became one of my favorites to play as. Especially with his Combo Type C stats.

I'm using that too but the stamina is doo doo. The others are safer and better but I do like me some tax free power rush.
I like Full Power Jiren more than Regular Jiren, but the thing about regular Jiren is if you can pull off the Tech with regular and NOW that he's custom, so Regular Jiren is Objectively better....I just prefer Full Power Jiren

Regular Power Impact is also a stat boosting move. Not useful for PvP, but very easy to land fully charged in PvE. No need to get mad about some moves having different functions.
Do you know the buff that Power Impact gives, like what percentage? Cause i haven't unlocked it yet so I'm not sure

But I think power impact should be chargeable, but the higher your ki bar is, the less time it takes to reach maximum charge would be a great mechanic imo.
It would allow full power jiren to use max strength power impact basically all the time. And regular Jiren could meditate and reach an instant full power release or have a natural decrease in charge time by like half when full on ki.
It's not the first time they update an old char with a new one that has a better transformation or power up but its moveset is underwhelming and/or repeated like Full Power Energy Wave; not only Jiren, with Gogeta and (in the future most surely) Kefla recently...
Instead of contesting future chars they should ask players future moves and awoken skills. That would lead to better gameplay and characters in my opinion.
Im using the ki type for a meditationless power rush. I'm sure its not the best but I enjoy it. Also, thanks to you I now have a gross burning strike combo that I can decide to use or not.

Idk if anyone else noticed this but during parallel quests specifically against ai, they randomly can just get out of combos they should NOT be able to escape, and they throw ults without ki sometimes, and they can perfect block from behind, and they can block too soon after recovering... I went into training mode with the characters I saw with this "glitch" with a stopwatch, they straight up added artifical difficulty to the game by literally making it unfair on a technical level which is NOT cool. I heard they fixed the ai and wanted to try, but nah this is worse... better than massive health bars ig.... my thinking is that they expect you to bring friends for the higher level pqs and programmed the ai to be more like an aggressive raid boss, but they COMBO YOU TOGETHER NOW, AND ALL POP OFF ULTS AT THE SAME TIME EVEN IF SOME OF THEM HAVE 0 KI. I had to use timeskip back breaker and Hella counter attacks to beat a harder pq on my own without allies.... that's not cool man...
Next up, I feel like it would have to be DBS gogeta and Blue Gogeta, but I personally would prefer to see less used characters.
Probably to stay with the spirit of the update, a 3 way comparison with Kale, Caulifla and Kefla?

Fun fact: regular Power Impact is so trash it is even affected by distance, the further you are the less damage you do with it, it's only good thing is the ultimate boost but it's not even that great and lasts for a very short time, it's way better to use Toppo's Super Soul for a permanent 35% increase on everything, it's more than the regular XXL boost, it's like an XXXL
And it may be a tiny bit harder but Full Power Jiren's Power Impact works as a combo extender for any knockback combo, you just have to follow up and hit your opponent at the right time after flying towards them
Also now I remembered to say, the Super version of Full Power Energy Wave's damage for Full Power Jiren is affected by distance, but the ultimate version isn't lol
Its because Full Bower Jiren has that stupid XY step Dash cancel that does stupid damage...
Imagine a Full Power Jiren Raid Boss with the buffs of SSGSSE, Kale's Super Soul and Divinity Unleashed charge.

It depends on how the players play the characters.
I love both full power Jiren and custom Jiren. They are two of my favorite characters.

I use both fairly I just find fp Jirens muda combo to be super fun.
Fp jiren for me is easier cause the combo I do is light stamina break then full Y combo into power rush
