YES! Finally a Tacoma channel!!! I just found this channel today and I've spent the last few hours watching as many videos as I could. My wife knows somethings up cuz she hasn't seen me in almost 3 hours lol!
I use boshield on my trailer’s chrome Bumper, anywhere on the trailers appearing paint, on the stabilizer as a line on the mécanisme, on my Truck’s hitch, as a lubricant anywhere, pI also use Corosion X in the same manner an d Fluid Film for anywhere under both to protect from rust
I take mine to Krown every year and it looks like new. It really helps with brake lines and other peripherals. I highly recommend doing this even if you don't get snow and have salting on the roads. Our work vehicles are absolutely mint 7 years and counting.
Also inside the doors and tailgate. I wish I could post pics but is there any Rust Check's or Krown dealers around you? If you plan on keeping your rig like I am, it's cheap insurance and I bet there won't be any frame rust issues either. Now I've done mine since new but if yours is in fine shape which I'm sure it is, better late than never.
This is exactly the kind of channel I've been looking for. You give out exactly the information ive been looking for. Is there any solid way to contact you with any miscellaneous questions I might have about my own Tacoma and tips for upgrades and mods in more detail?
Hey Grant! Thanks for watching and I'm pumped that you are enjoying the channel. There are tons of ways to contact me with questions and I actually just started a Q&A vid series so I might even address them there. Feel free to post your questions on any of my vids, message me through CZcams, Instagram, and Tacomaworld (boogie3478 is my username there). I also post calls for more questions here on CZcams under my "Community" section on my channel.
I've used Fluid FIlm on my trucks for years with great results. For things that can be seen, I just spray then wipe away excess. Let us know the results of this new product after testing.
Good to know you are still happy with Fluid Film after so many years! I like both Fluid Film and Boeshield. Guess I'll see how long each lasts before looking like it needs to be reapplied.
So what exactly do you spray it on? Like what body parts of the Tacoma are you using it for? I thinking about picking some up and I just want to know where I'm putting it LOL
Hey Michael! You can pretty much spray it anywhere with the exception of your brakes. Personally I'm using it on my suspension components because it goes on clear and it easy to aim. For larger areas under the truck I'm using Fluid Film: amzn.to/2GTGH9L The Fluid Film is great too but goes on thicker with a slightly yellowish tint.
Ha ha pretty much. You might notice a weird smell if you spray parts that get hot like the exhaust, but that shouldn't last too long. If you want to go all out you could even do one of these kits. amzn.to/2GZbVbG I plan on getting one of these kits next fall.
Tacomaholic so I went to Amazon and looked at that kid right now that's a little out of my price range considering what money I had I put down to get a TRD Tacoma so I think I'll just pick a couple of cans up and just spray what I can for now mostly the major parts but thanks so much for your info and all your videos. I've gotten a lot of good ideas from them. Some things I can't do right now but will be able to do in the future. There is one thing that drives me crazy though about my Tacoma. Maybe it's an OCD thing. I don't know. But because it's a Access Cab there is no speakers in the rear. Just two woofers and two speakers in the front two doors. And I've yet to be able to find some kind of video that somebody who's actually put speakers or a woofer or anything in the rear of an excess cab.
So after a year would you consider using T-9 instead of FF. I've used T-9 for my woodworking tools, but I'm having a hard time committing to FF on my brand new Tacoma. Thank you for your videos and any thoughts.
Greetings John! Both are great but I'm going with Fluid Film when I do my entire undercarriage soon. Fluid Film seems to go on thicker and last a bit longer ... and you get more per can for the price.
T-9 for table saw tops 👌🏻
I've used T-9 Boeshield on my bicycles since I learned of it in 1998. Excellent stuff!
Heck yeah Dusty. I love both the Boeshield T-9 and Fluid Film.

Ha ha awesome! Hope you enjoy the channel! 👍
Nice new product! I had no idea existed. Thank you!
Using T-9 on my 6112s .Just spray a light coat to keep the Bilsteins from rusting !
Heck yeah!
Looks like it works pretty well. Ty for sharing
Yessir. This stuff seems like it works pretty well. Curious to see how long it lasts.
Tacomaholic Me too! Keep us posted.
Absolutely.

How much does that cost?
It's about 150.00 CAD taxes incl. So maybe 100.-120.
Not too bad. They just spray down everything under the truck?

Hmm I might look into for the long term. Nearest Krown location to me is a few hours away.
Great stuff!!!! Have you ever considered a front camera that works with the stock stereo?
Absolutely! I've heard there are kits you can get so they are roughly plug and play. A local guy here as done them before. Pretty cool.

Seems like a good product but I kinda wish they made a water based one too.
I don’t get it, does it dry oily or hard? If it’s oily that would collect dirt.
Neither. It just dries and I've never had an issue with it collecting dirt.
@@Tacomaholic thanks for your reply! They should really sponsor people like you cuz it’s literally advertisement and then we go buy it lol
@@Funny_as_Duck haha that would be great!
Can you use boeshield on surface rust?
I don't think the boeshield is gong to do anything to remove the rust. Something like naval jelly would be needed for that.
There is a video on CZcams using T-9 to remove surface rust from a band saw table. Worked great.

Tacomaholic OK...so pretty much cover everything under the truck thats moving parts...got it.lol

Thanks for watching Michael. I haven't done any audio stuff yet but might get into that down the road.
where did u get that bed mat?

Will the fluid film mess with the factory coating on the frame?
It shouldn't ... but I'm not sure how long that factory coating lasts since rust on the frames is such and issues with these trucks.
Where did you get that shirt lol
Hey Neodous, did a video about the shirts here: czcams.com/video/ExLST3JO78o/video.html
Just use wd40 and it smells fantastic
I love that stuff too. 👍
WD40 won't last nearly as long as Boeshield or FF. You'll be lucky to get a week out of WD compared to months of the other 2.
