I love how Kong took no prisoners this movie and was so much smarter. Hes maturing so much.
I understand due to the budget that they had to make this fight short with Kong delivering an off screen kill. But I really hope WB and Legendary understand the value in the Monsterverse and start investing more money into these films. I hope Godzilla X Kong 3 would have at least a €250M budget, with a 2h 20m runtime
It's certainly a good idea, although that would mean we gotta convince a lot more people to watch it since box office results do matter most of the time. A bigger budget would require more revenue and returns
@@Mystic-4252 That's true, but both GvK and GxK have gotten good results. I think what would make the next film a major success is for them to go a darker and more serious route, but still keeping it action packed and push the boundaries of the PG 13 rating. A longer runtime and bigger budget would make the action scenes longer and allow the main characters more screen time. As long as the story is simple to follow, llikeable human characters played by charismatic actors, great VFX, longer and brutal action scenes and a terrifying villain or villains then I definitely see this movie being a major success

@@callmestorm23yes, but nowhere near good enough results to warrant a budget the size of a Pirates of The Caribbean movie or Avengers film. It would have to gross AT LEAST $650-700m worldwide to justify that large of budget, and none of the films have even come within $75m of that box office gross. Let’s appreciate what we have now, after the success of GxK, we’re probably good for 3 more guaranteed MV films, which is another decade of entertainment for us.
King Kong has fought and killed so many aquatic animals since he was little. The drownviper was nothing to him.
I wouldn’t say that. That one serpent like creature from Godzilla vs Kong almost got the best off kong before the humans intervened. Kong just seems a lot more experienced and stronger here.
Btw, non of the aquatic creatures king fought against were as big as this creature

@@AdamSG.It's at least 1000 feet. Kong is about 340 ft, and Drownviper was towering over him almost 2x as tall, while probably half of the rest of its body is underwater. Meaning it was probably at least 1200 ft long.

It could be even better if they to add the moments which are mentioned in the of.novelization, more concrete - how Kong cut off this SeaSerpet's head.
So, according to the of.novelization, Kong waited for a moment when SeaSerpent charged him again aaaaand just immidiately stepped aside and made a lethal hit!

More screen time than ever before in the MV, even an entire 7 minute scene with ZERO human dialogue when Scar and Kong met for the first time. Yet, you still complain. You live to complain.

My favourite fight in MV! Kong did not need any help or plot armour, unlike in Skull Island or GVK. They listened to the fans!😅
In fact, there were official explanations for this, Kong had problems with the Skull devil because he was injured by napalm, in GvK Kong was weakened due to the lack of food from the skull island and the sedatives from Monarch, in GxK he is at his prime.
