Father's Sins has become my favorite, Under Pressure and Opening Shot give it maxed out range and AA with crazy Accuracy Cones, and it's clean 35 zoom scope combats flinch and tunnel vision really well (especially now that Rapid Fire frames got a big flinch reduction buff of 50%)

I still use 1k yard over the beloved even after putting over 2k kills on the beloved. Something about it just feels perfect (it's the d1 shortgaze scope)
Exactly. I have a better roll on my beloved, but my 1k with heating up and snapshot feels better. Brings me back to D1
One of my fave scopes in the game, loved this sight and the sight that is on the supremacy in d2.
1K Yard feels like it has a bigger hit box than any sniper
I miss d1 when longbow, 1k yard, and LDR dominated. Shortgaze and ambush sights FTW. (IMO I miss the differently colored reticles they were always fun to use in D1)
You could also pair it with cloudstrike if you want to make a team hate each other. With the caty and ophidian it’s got max handling, if you also throw on arc targeting for the ads scalar then you’re cooking with gas
Whenever I miss too many snipes. Instead of giving in and equipping that shotty I just watch one of ur vids for that confidence boost
I always loved the gun model on 1000 yd stare. Only reason I still use beloved is for the enhanced qd/snap. Still don't know why Bungie nerfed quickness of snipers before AA 🤷♂️

1k yard is the sniper that made me put away shotguns in pvp. Its just so satisfying to hit nasty shots like those no scopes
My favorite sniper for PvP is Occluded Finality. It has a ton of zoom, but that doesn't bother me. I've got a level 20 crafted Beloved, but the only PvP I've ever put it through was leveling it up in Team Scorched. I just don't snipe often. Maybe I should reconsider now that mods are elemental instead of by weapon type; I usually just didn't want to swap all of my mods. Now that I basically always have solar mods installed, guess I should give Beloved a whirl (and pick up a 1k Stare for when I'm on Void mods instead).
One thing people gotta remember is sniping is all about feel. If someone is running the new stasis sniper but they hitting shots LET EM COOOOOOK 😂😂😂
Gallu gets No Distractions + Snapshot with a super clean sight, 40 zoom, I greatly prefer it to Beloved or 1000 Yard.
That’s all good, but the sniper has an awful zoom in reticle. You can’t see any enemies around the center
I have been using an old Far Future with Quickdraw/Opening Shot and I absolutely love it!
Honestly I'm a huge fan of the square scopes, they just hit different. Not coincidentally Mt favorite snipers are 1000 yard stare, eye of sol, and uzume.

I have perpetual motion and snapshot role , i thinks perp is better than quickdraw because you got a free stability and handling
i’ve always loved this sniper and the blue reticle, but the uzume was the one i could never use. That white reticle makes things impossible for me to aim at.
Because i use a 49” ultrawide i cant actually use this sniper because of the darkness correction. Certain snipers if i look down the scope its like looking into the sun on pretty much any map. Super upsetting but learned to deal with it.
Use gallu! The overflow on it is sometimes rly clutch for me, and it feels like uzume and it feels rly good
I used the crap out of this thing until beloved came back. Good memories. My roll nowadays feels trash after all the handling perk nerfs
I feel like there's a few snipers out there where the scope is like slightly off from where the bullet actually hits. Cloudstrike and this are definitely part of them.

I have been useing a 1000 yard for sooo long and have over 5000 kills on it I love this thing ( I have no distractions and snap shot)
I mean the 1k yard stare has shortgaze and beloved has longview, so it just comes to preference like back in d1
Firmly planted + snapshot is beautiful for slide snipes! I put 1k kills exactly on this thing and then memorialized it in my vault

Been my favorite sniper for a while. I have 2 solid rolls. Main one is fluted barrel, tactical mag, QuickDraw, snapshot with a handling Mw, or one that’s identical with perpetual motion instead of QuickDraw
haven’t used much except that mechabre they dropped on halloween but i might have to check this out
I had a 1000-Yard in D1 that I used religiously so when it came back I used every roll till I got the one that clicked, and Snapshot QuickDraw is the one I stuck with.

1000 yard stare is great too. I just like the lower zoom of the beloved slightly more.

Mechabre? I mean I guess it’s not a 90 rpm but the zoom is pretty much the same and if you played at all during the Halloween event you easily got the 100 range god roll with snapshot opening shot

I tend to float between 40 and 45 zoom snipers, beloved and eye of sol in particular. They both feel like they have aimbot, and I don't even have an adept eye of sol. Most ppl that are new to sniping should 100% focus on getting good with farther zoom snipers, and work their way down to lower zoom snipers. High zoom snipers give you a bigger target to hit, but often come with the inability to be used from fusion rifle range unlike a 40-45 zoom sniper.
High zoom in a super mobile game is terrible.
You ain't flicking or checking angles effectively with a telescope..at least not on controller.

Uzume is my favorite energy 90 rpm. Snap with vorpal. Normally 90s only headshot most supers not all. With vorpal you 1 hit any super.
1000 Yard serves a different purpose than Beloved, despite the rolls I see 1000 Yard as a more passive sniper whereas Beloved in a far more aggressive sniper

Correct me if I'm wrong but quickdraw gives 100 handling until ads, and snapshot fixes the ads speed. So why have fluted selected over hammer forged?
Better ads, snapshot got nerfed now you actually need healthy handling to have good ads or at least pre nerf.

I've been liking the neumona sniper with firmly planted and under pressure. I know it doesn't have snapshot, but I play on warlock of ophidian and two strand targeting. Like it a lot. I also have a 1000 yard with heating up snapshot. It's fun to use and can get decent streaks with heating up

I used light blue as my csgo crosshair and r6s crosshair when they added that option so i'm used to it but I still like beloved more
idk the frozen orbit be hitting different for me
I prefer the blue sights as I'm red/green color blind. I wish reticles were customizable like our crosshairs are.
