- Hi everyone!! I am going through my father's photo album from before I was born. I think the photo album page sounds are pretty good. I have been in a bit of a video rut when it comes to filming and hopefully am starting to dig my way out and get going again...as always...Thank you for watching and I do hope you enjoy!!
Imagine having your old photos organized and in pristine quality like they were printed yesterday with descriptions. I could never.
Its really crazy how alike all pictures looked back in the 50’s to 60’s. Even some of my family’s pictures look like some of yours!
so used to your non-speaking videos to sleep by, but found this and love your voice! also love the sound of the pictures along with the little stories from the backs. wonderful relaxing video! 😊❤
Omg fantastic vid 😀. I absolutely adore old photo albums from the 40s and onwards and even earlier like from the early 1900s and 20s and 30s. One of my aunties, a great aunt, who is my dads first cousin, she has a load of albums in her house from the 1920s and onwards when she was a small girl and her family and brother . Old photos tell so much story i think and the photos have alot of character.
Great video! I have been going through my grandparents pictures. They were born in the 20's and grew up during the great depression and saved everything. They each had their own pictures and also inherited all of their parents pictures. Many of the pictures that I have are similar to the ones in your video. Thankfully the majority of ours have names on the backs!
Good reminder; to go through old photoalbums when there are still people alive who can tell who are the persons in photos, to write down the stories because there will be the day when it's too late and no-one left to tell

Hi Tracy, love it when I see you have new videos! It's amazing how everyone's old photos look so much the same. Your album looks so much like my old albums. Same clothes, same poses. My dad was in WWII and his army pics look like your dad's. Great video, great sounds. Happy NewYear, my friend!

I would like to thank you emensly for sharing you collection of photographs, I love the first large photo in a envelope frame it is absolutely amazing, I wish I had the template so I could make a duplicate of it, I love old photos also vintage photographs. I try to design my own photo cards with the few embossing /dies I have. Thank you very much again, God bless you

Thank you Melissa!! I will look to do more... I have filmed more but end up scrubbing them... when I go to edit I tend to get hyper-critical.. I find it best when I don't have to edit and can just upload without watching before hand...that way I can't decide to delete it LOL
Really enjoyed this video....love looking at others peoples old photos! Was also wondering what camera are you using here? It looks like you have it on a tripod? Been wanting to do videos in this fashion before, just trying to figure out a good camera to buy to do it with and one that is not too expensive.
don't know how I missed this but I am just using my phone, believe the galaxy7 edge, it was my least favorite to film with honestly, using the Galaxy 8 plus now pretty happy with it..... I find that as long as you have a big enough memory card that it doesn't cut off it works better than my other cameras :) Sorry for the super late response ...!! And thank you for watching!

Did you not like your grandma or something? I mean I completely understand, we all have family issues. I’m just trying to understand why you roast her every chance you get when you see her picture. Lol otherwise, LOVED listening to the photo album and you talking about the pictures!
No, have no problems with her, never met her. Unfortunately, my family issues are having no family except the dog. My Grandparents except one had passed long before I was born. Her appearance gives the impression of being a stern taskmaster.. and her features are quite hard.so since I have no idea of what she was really like, when I look at expressions and body language my imagination roams and I can have a strange sense of humor. It's all meant in a good spirit,but if I'm being honest, I am thankful no one has ever accused me of resembling her. I seem to have gotten my grandmother's looks on my mom's side and a bit of my grandfather's on my dad's side :). Got the best of both worlds I think. Still would have loved to have known all of them, even briefly. Only met my grandfather on my mom's side once. :)

Forgive me for asking but how come you swiftly put aside the photo of your mother when you showed us a good look at the photo of your dad?
That was my fathers second wife. I am glad he found her and they made each other happy,. It was easier for me not to say anything I figured, than speak ill of the dead.....:)

Had my father's last name on it , so my last name.. and it's fairly unique .. I'm not that hard to find but don't wanna make it that easy :)

I love this Video, but what is it with you and your grandmother? Just curious as to why you feel the constant need to mention that she is "not a delicate flower and very steady". It's fine, we can see it. It just is a bit annoying to me that you have mention it every 2 minutes, I'm sorry but it's not important at all

Yeah, it turned me off the whole video. Either there is family resentment or she really hates fat people.
